If you guys go to different Korean restaurant, The ingredient in Bibimbab might be different because of their own way to cook Bibimbab. Hope this is help.
I would recommend to foreigners. Before you eat Bibimbab like her way, you would better to heat the stone bowl first to make it hot (perhaps you experienced in Korean restaurant served to you with very hot). It makes Bibimbab more delicious. One more things, you can put a fried egg or egg yolk or even white of an egg (up to you). Bibimbab is not limited with certain type of vegetables (with exception of too strong flavor of vegetables). You can put any types of vegetables you like.
Omgggggggg it looks so good and kinda easy to make.. I'm not a good cook actually idk how to cook but I will definitely try this ...thank you so much (:
you can do that.. just some vegetables takes longer than others.. so fry them first..and slowly add another vegetables that take less time..so at the end you can cook everything in one pan but everything will be cooked right..
@PILIPINAS7107 yes because for bibimbap you use Korean gochujang- spicy pepper sauce....and that usually can be mildly spicy to very spicy... so if you are eating sweet bibimbap it might be that the person added sugar to your sauce.. or it's filipinalized. (like americanized)
I have tasted bibimbap in the philippines inside a mall, it taste really good at first, but at the end because of its sweetness I fed up with it......
Aeri, I can't eat pre-packaged red pepper paste because I am allergic to wheat. Do you have a recipe for homemade gochuchang or something I could use with bibimbap instead of this sauce? Thanks for sharing your recipes!
that looks delicious but its kinda sad you make it look all pretty by seperating the vegetables in the bowl so well to just mix it all up in the end anyways! i really wanna try this now

Wow this looks like hard work! One day I'll make a Bibimbap! Most restaurants I've been to heat the contents in the stone pot, is this necessary at home?
Wow this looks delicious. I've heard so mch abt it. I love Korean food, Korean drama, movies, Jun Ji Hyun, Kwon Sang Woo, 2NE1...the list goes n on and I can't believe I just found you tday. Hehe. Definitely gonna subscribe to u. ^^ Will try making this myself, though I have to look for the ingredients first. Will have to search for a Korean grocery store here in the UK now!!! ^^
That loookkk sooooooo good *O* I'm drooling right now.. =[ I'm watching this a midnight right now........ Looks so yummmmy *0* too bad I don't know how to cook so my mom won't let me touch the kitchen and I don't have money to go a Korean restaurant =[ this is a life of a highschooler =\
It is common for us Koreans to cook a Bibimbap with dog meat. Killing dogs in the backyard is fun. Also, it is good to eat dog meat Bibimbap with our traditional liquor called "ttongsul" which is made of human feces. It is great. It is actually the best if you add some ttongsul in Bibimbap. All Koreans love a little bit of spice like that. Korea is number 1.
@Cherrierune nah not really, but it makes the dish slightly more authentic. gosari is the coiled part of the "fern" plant. so it might be hard to find in non-Korean stores
well with bibimbap you can add any vegitables that you like and if you don't have gosari or kimchi then it's ok! without these you can taste bibimbap perfectly but you need the most imp. one which is the gochujang(spicy souce) then enjoy ur meal ;)
oh.. I'm sorry but red pepper paste is importan ingredient for this dish.. so you need it.. unless you eat soy sauce mixture for the sauce.. but it will be different food then..
O M G THANK YOU!!!! I have been wondering what this dish was called. I watch a lot of Korean dramas and I often see the characters put this dish together and eat it. They pretty much where just putting stuff together but it looked so good.
if you change that hot pepper paste and sugar.... the balance for the sauce flavor will be changed..so what I want to suggest you is.. just add smaller amount of sauce to your bibimbap.. that will be less spicy and sweet..
Good but next time consider using these ingredients also: Beet greens, Bitterleaf, Bok choy, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Celery, Chicory, Collard greens, Lettuce, Mustard, Paracress, Spinach, Watercress and may be some Green or Red Pepper. hahaha
Bibimbap is one of my favorite Korean dishes ever, though I tend to avoid meat in it, just because it tastes a lot fresher without it.

what you think is.. stone bowl bibimbap.. basically everything is same except the rice part..as you mentioned.. the rice will be hot and crispy on the bottom.. I just made normal bibimbap for this video. ^^
mmmmm thanks aeriskitchen...i'm going to try this for dinner. i don't have any beef in the house. I've got tuna and bacon. Would either of these work? If so how do i prepare say the tuna?
Actaully.. you don't have to add beef... so you can just skip it.. but if you want to add the tuna you have..(I guess you mean..tuna from can..right. ?? ) just drain water or oil..and add some in your bibimbap without any seasoning... the bibimbap sauce is enough... ^^ thanks
@aeriskitchen thank you!!!! i went with tinned tuna. it was delicious! my family all loved it. so happy i can finally make it, thanks to your super video ^^
You can skip it or you can try different kinds of dried vegetables that Korean stores sell. I sometimes use dried korean sweet potato stems instead..and it's pretty good. thanks
Thank you!! I enjoy really your video and the music!

mmmmm thanks aeriskitchen...i'm going to try this for dinner. i don't have any beef in the house. I've got tuna and bacon. Would either of these work? If so how do i prepare say the tuna?

@rosydewdrops
Actaully.. you don't have to add beef... so you can just skip it.. but if you want to add the tuna you have..(I guess you mean..tuna from can..right. ?? ) just drain water or oil..and add some in your bibimbap without any seasoning... the bibimbap sauce is enough... ^^ thanks

@punkonthis
You can skip it or you can try different kinds of dried vegetables that Korean stores sell. I sometimes use dried korean sweet potato stems instead..and it's pretty good. thanks
