  • If you guys go to different Korean restaurant, The ingredient in Bibimbab might be different because of their own way to cook Bibimbab. Hope this is help.

  • I would recommend to foreigners. Before you eat Bibimbab like her way, you would better to heat the stone bowl first to make it hot (perhaps you experienced in Korean restaurant served to you with very hot). It makes Bibimbab more delicious. One more things, you can put a fried egg or egg yolk or even white of an egg (up to you). Bibimbab is not limited with certain type of vegetables (with exception of too strong flavor of vegetables). You can put any types of vegetables you like.

  • Omgggggggg it looks so good and kinda easy to make.. I'm not a good cook actually idk how to cook but I will definitely try this ...thank you so much (:

left her eye is only one eyelid but another one is double eyelid.

  • @esychat

You are right.. I only have oneside double eyelid -_-;; nice catch.. hehe..

  • @esychat concentrate on the task at hand. concentrate,,,

  • can i just fried all ingredient that need to be fried in one time..?

  • @NazeeraSHINee94

you can do that.. just some vegetables takes longer than others.. so fry them first..and slowly add another vegetables that take less time..so at the end you can cook everything in one pan but everything will be cooked right..

  • @PILIPINAS7107 yes because for bibimbap you use Korean gochujang- spicy pepper sauce....and that usually can be mildly spicy to very spicy... so if you are eating sweet bibimbap it might be that the person added sugar to your sauce.. or it's filipinalized. (like americanized)

  • Bibim means mixture.

  • is it okay not to add vinegar in the sauce?

  • 6:10 AAAAAHHHHHHH...i want to eat! yum! ^^

  • i prefer dolsot bibimbap to regular bibimbap just because i like the rice crust formed with the heated stone bowl

  • @zilam98 Me too!!

  • I'm sure bibimbap in korea is different from the ones in the phillipines ^_^

  • I have tasted bibimbap in the philippines inside a mall, it taste really good at first, but at the end because of its sweetness I fed up with it......

  • @PILIPINAS7107 it's not supposed to be sweet... if at all it should taste slightly spicy

  • @tokee1234567 Slighlty spicy?....Is that the natural way of bibimbap, maybe there are variations.....

  • Looks delicious !

  • I'm eating Bibimbap right now, so gooood!!

  • Aeri, I can't eat pre-packaged red pepper paste because I am allergic to wheat. Do you have a recipe for homemade gochuchang or something I could use with bibimbap instead of this sauce? Thanks for sharing your recipes!

  • @whirledpeas13

homemade one will have wheat too.. sorry.. you can use some sauce made with soy sauce also..

  • @whirledpeas13 there are some people who use rice powder to make gochujang. search for it, hope it helps

  • that looks delicious but its kinda sad you make it look all pretty by seperating the vegetables in the bowl so well to just mix it all up in the end anyways! i really wanna try this now

  • La cuisine algérienne a connu le même sort que celui de la cuisine coréenne

  • 맛있는!!!!! WOW aeri

  • I tried this with my korean friends at a korean restaurant. I Love it! thanks for posting this.

  • It is common for us Koreans to cook a Bibimbap with dog meat. Killing dogs in the backyard is fun. Also, it is good to eat dog meat Bibimbap with our traditional liquor called "ttongsul" which is made of human feces. It is great. It is actually the best if you add some ttongsul in Bibimbap. All Koreans love a little bit of spice like that. Korea is number 1.

  • @Xstian666 shut up and stop acting like you're a retard.

  • Can you tell me what the 2nd song in the vid is?

  • @LongDuong21

    Artist: Son, Dam-bi

    Title: 반대말

  • 맛있어요

  • is gosari an important part of the dish because I can manage to find the other ingredients.

  • @Cherrierune nah not really, but it makes the dish slightly more authentic. gosari is the coiled part of the "fern" plant. so it might be hard to find in non-Korean stores

  • @tokee1234567 Thanks :D

  • its hard to find the kimchi on brunei.

  • well with bibimbap you can add any vegitables that you like and if you don't have gosari or kimchi then it's ok! without these you can taste bibimbap perfectly but you need the most imp. one which is the gochujang(spicy souce) then enjoy ur meal ;)

  • We don't have in my country gosari so what can I put instead plz tell me and can I put mashrom ????

  • @amly2711

yes..just add other vegetables you like ^^

  • i wanna try 2 make it,,.....

  • thaaaaanx a lot for teaching this! I sooo wanted to make this dish by myself!

  • VET TA BURS

  • WoW im amazed that realy looks so good!!!!

  • This is so good when you don't feel well. It really as a very healthy food!

  • awsom, I'll have to try and make this though I've never cooked/eatten korean cuisian. Looks delicious though.

  • Have a heatable bowl you can put on the stove and the rice will be crispy and nice.

  • dam i like to eat it, but it seems alot of work to make it lol

  • 손담비!!!!! lol

  • can i substitute the red pepper paste with other things? cause i don't know how to find it here in malaysia

  • @comingsoon188

oh.. I'm sorry but red pepper paste is importan ingredient for this dish.. so you need it.. unless you eat soy sauce mixture for the sauce.. but it will be different food then..

  • @comingsoon188 You can get red pepper paste in Malaysia, there's a korean shop in Ampang.. you can google it :)

  • @comingsoon188 u can find it at korean grocery at jusco.

  • @comingsoon188 You can buy it at Jaya Jusco as they are selling it now... (that also depends which Jaya Jusco outlet you frequent)

  • One of my favorite dishes in the world. MMMmmmmm

  • that literally made my mouth water. haha.

  • O M G THANK YOU!!!! I have been wondering what this dish was called. I watch a lot of Korean dramas and I often see the characters put this dish together and eat it. They pretty much where just putting stuff together but it looked so good.

Can I make this with any kind of meat?

  • @LoliJRockDramaLover1

yes you can do that. ^^

  • @LoliJRockDramaLover1 yes. generally Koreans use "red meat" for this but any type of meat is fine.

  • yumm yummm ma-shi-isso-yo.. bibibam che_GO ..

  • Can I ask how I can make the sauce less spicy and more sweet? I have a little boy so he wouldn't be able to eat spicy sauces. Thanks

  • @KiAdWy

if you change that hot pepper paste and sugar.... the balance for the sauce flavor will be changed..so what I want to suggest you is.. just add smaller amount of sauce to your bibimbap.. that will be less spicy and sweet..

  • Omg this looks soooo good!!

  • Good but next time consider using these ingredients also: Beet greens, Bitterleaf, Bok choy, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Celery, Chicory, Collard greens, Lettuce, Mustard, Paracress, Spinach, Watercress and may be some Green or Red Pepper. hahaha

  • i love bibimbap! =D all time favorite korean food! i love the steamy cooked kind....that is still sizzling in the bowl...hehehe =)

  • おいしい!!!! とっても上手い、その韓国料理もうおいしい!!!

  • 굳이 채소는 안볶아도 맛있음. ^ ∇ ^

    칼로리도 낮고 ㅋ

  • Yummy!.

  • I used to be to walk 5 minutes to a Korean restaurant and get this, at least once a week.

Now, I would need to make and it would cost a buttload for all the ingrediants.

    =))

  • waaaaaaaaaaahhh... thank you thank you!

  • Thank you so much for making this videos^^

I really learned alot from you!! I like how you explain everything in detail^^ LOL!

Thanks again! I wish I could speak korean to thank you! But yeah

    "komasemedah^^"

    -Dae Hyeun

  • awesome video, I'm hungry now lol!

  • your voice is so calm.... :]

  • Bibimbap is one of my favorite Korean dishes ever, though I tend to avoid meat in it, just because it tastes a lot fresher without it.

Of course, I have to say this is one of the best recipes I've tried, especially the one for homemade moosaengchae; I make a big batch and just snack on it. It's even better when it's made dolsot bibimbap-style, with the fat, sticky Korean rice. Very unlike Japanese sticky rice, for sure.

And lots of sambal on top. :x

  • @gloirevivre

Thanks for your comment... it made me happy..hehe

  • @gloirevivre I can't wait to try this!! I also haven't tried kimchi or mandus but I really want too!! I get so hungry while watching her videos haha

  • Thanks for your awesome videos :) But i have a question, do you have a favorite brand of red pepper paste that has good flavor and some spice in it (I can't tell the level of spice it has)? I can't read korean, so can you recommend some good brands to buy? Thanks alot.

  • @tohohori

I buy sempio brand red pepper paste.. ^^ thanks

  • @aeriskitchen thanks for the recommendation :) I'll be sure to check it out. kasahamida :D ahh i have another question. sorrrry but which type of brand or korean rice do u use to cook? I dont know much about korean rice. It'll be great if you can reccomend me some, if not it's okay too. :)

  • I just ate this cuisine for the first time a few weeks ago. It was awesome! One of my favorite foods now.(:

  • thAnk you,.i will try to make this fOr my husband.

  • What a delightful video!

  • Bimbimbap is heaven's food.

  • bibimbap is my favorite especially in a hot bowl with egg. I have celiac disease and can't eat anything with wheat or barley and bibimbap is perfect.

  • I'm a bit confused, I thought the rice went into the oven in steel bowl, (I don't know the name), before the other ingredients went on top with the yolk of an egg?

  • @Jeansieguy

what you think is.. stone bowl bibimbap.. basically everything is same except the rice part..as you mentioned.. the rice will be hot and crispy on the bottom.. I just made normal bibimbap for this video. ^^

  • mmmmm thanks aeriskitchen...i'm going to try this for dinner. i don't have any beef in the house. I've got tuna and bacon. Would either of these work? If so how do i prepare say the tuna?

  • @rosydewdrops

Actaully.. you don't have to add beef... so you can just skip it.. but if you want to add the tuna you have..(I guess you mean..tuna from can..right. ?? ) just drain water or oil..and add some in your bibimbap without any seasoning... the bibimbap sauce is enough... ^^ thanks

  • @aeriskitchen thank you!!!! i went with tinned tuna. it was delicious! my family all loved it. so happy i can finally make it, thanks to your super video ^^

  • o my gosh ur teasing me by feeding the camera with food! >.< lol

  • I love your recipes! My boyfriend is Korean and I'm not....He likes Korean food and you really are helpful! Thanks and please, keep them coming!

  • What brand? and what kind of rice to use to cook for dolsot bibimbap?

  • what brand of gojuchang you use?

  • @Onass777

I use "Sempio" brand gochujang. ^^

  • Aeris, if you can get gosari is there a good substitute?

  • @punkonthis

You can skip it or you can try different kinds of dried vegetables that Korean stores sell. I sometimes use dried korean sweet potato stems instead..and it's pretty good. thanks

  • I had this for lunch today . Made my day before i went to work

  • can i use pork instead? most of my family members dont eat beef so yeah ><

  • @TankeyTop

    yes you can ^^

  • that just made my mouth water! I WANT TO EAT IT!

  • I've never had Korean food before. I've been wanting to try it for so long. This is one reason why I want to cuz it looks so delicious~!! ;D
