id personaly buy the kh202 , i presume u like metal so it will t be easier to shred on the thin neck :) be carefull anyone buying les pauls !!!! they sometimes have large necks !!! my gold top 57 custom is huge !!! never buy schecter they are shit !
@EGPK11 I bought the MH 250 thinking of that... but the KH has a bolt on neck which I didnt like... Neck Thru is awesome... I really recommend that guitar
@CRESPUCIO12345 fair dues , kirk dosent acc use bolt on necks in his prtotypes , they are all neck thru aswell man ! i would of also reccomeneded a jackson randy rhoads 3 , they are awesome , btw can i ask about ur m250 , does it have a locking tremelo , reverse headstock and a whammy bar ? im planing on paintin up all of kirks mummy , dracula , frankenstne guitars and am looking for a cheap ltd or esp with the same specs ?
@EGPK11 Look for the KH-202 its actually a bolt on one, its like the cheapest model of his signature. Dude mine is the MH one not the M. MH doesnt have reverse headstock but it does have whammy and tremolo. I love this guitar man really recommend, theres actually a new model the MH350 which is even more awesome. Thanks for the comment
@CRESPUCIO12345 yes i know it has a bolt on but the kh-2s and stuff are kneck thru , i didnt put it that well in my last comment aha , awww okay it dosent matter im gona buy a esp explorer :) and no problem
That Les Paul was a picture of a Les Paul Custom not a Studio deluxe. The only difference is the outlining on the guitar. The Deluxe doesnt have the outline. That and about 200 or 300 Dollars
P.S- i own the damien 6 fr.... and believe me, it KICKS ASS.
as for the floyd rose thingy... u just have to be careful.. mine never gave me a headache.... as the other's say... it is worth it.. but buy the schecter only if u play metal, metalcore/hardcore/deathcore... well u know wat i ma talking about....
Now, for the kirk hammett...... it is good... but above ur price range (maybe)
i was on the same boat too..and was going to buy the ESPm300fm..till I found the ESPm200fm..this baby rocks...i have 5 ax's. everything from Strats to epi-Les Pauls, and its the best for heavy shit. its discontinued tho..so if its avalible..jump on it..
@vvdavidvv Yes Its is a fucking studio deluxe you tard, Custom is more expensive than this one.... PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUt
Well I got a Schecter Damien 6 FR and it's the love of my life hehe, along with a Line 6 Spider IV 75, love em both. I play music like Attack Attack!, Black Veil Brides, A Skylit Drive, etc. but its perfect for it.
if you play harcore and metal don't buy the les paul or ibanez...just 7 strings ibanez ar good for metal and if you want you can buy the m400 model but i don't listen any diference between passive EMG and actives ;D...just buy a distorsion pedal
I've been doing the same thing for the past few months and cant decide either. I am seriously leaning toward the Schecter V1 Hellraiser or the Schecter Hellraiser Solo 6. Both are around $750.
If you dont want to spend quite that much check out the LTD EC401 for $650. My Guitarist plays an Original ESP Eclipse that he spent almost $2000 for and we put it up against a EC401 at our local music store. I closed my eyes and had a hard time telling the difference. Hope that helps. :)
you should stay with the LDT ESP that are great guitars... but you should save some more money and go for the 400 series... they are almost ESP Quality and got a great sound and sustain ect. keep that in mind
Try some Jacksons of the JS range or the Pro series, they're built as from day 1 for metal. I have a JS30KE, replace the bridge P.U with a dimebucker and I can crunch, chug and wail solos like any pro guitar player! Another tip; to get an even better sound, especially with a tube amp, change your volume pot to 500K, the stock ones are 250K i think.
alright, i realize how very similar the studio deluxe and custom les pauls look alike, but they do not look the same. the studio has trapezoid inlays, not the rectangular ones. and the custom has that triangular looking insignia on the headstock, and it has a black outline on the body. the studio has neither of those two things. that picture is the les paul custom. no doubt about it
@avengedromancee i dont give a fuck what you have your a dumbass cuz you cant tell the difference between a custom and a studio that dont even look alike
dude i dont really care that you have a life i do too.. but all im sayin is they dont look alike (because its true) but get over it it was like a month ago when i said that anyway if you had a life you wouldnt have wasted your time replying to my comment anyway...

Imo, get the ESP M-200fm, i will be getting that for christmas too ^_^
As one metal player to another, im guessing you will be wanting to drop tune ?
if so, then go on a guy called 'RobChappers' youtube page, and find his video where he hardtails his guitar, meaning he puts a block of wood at the back of his tremelo, so the tremelo doesnt drop when you detune. Its sooo helpful plus it will only cost around £5 and a bit of elbow grease ^_^
Mate, dont go for the KH202, if ye want a kirk hammett signature, save up and buy the expensive one. Learn from my mistakes, I bought the Alexi 200, the cheap version of the Alexi 600, sold it after a month.
Depends, what amp are you using? If your playing a $100 piece of shit amp, your better off just getting a better amp as it makes up 90% of your tone. And as of the guitars, your better off just going to your local Guitar Center and trying them all out and seeing which one sounds and plays better to you, rather than ask some people on Youtube that don't know anything about guitars.
and also i cant go to guitar center because i am in colombia and there are no guitar centers here, im ordering the guitar so i need u tell me which one is better, i prefer to test it myself but i cant
Well you won't be getting a good tone out of that Spider III no matter what guitar you have. I suggest a new amp. Look into getting a Peavey Vypyr combo or a B-52 AT-112 combo.
id say get the les paul.. if you get a guitar with a FR you might want to spend more money. Or find a used s470 with a zr bridge. REALLY good bridge for the money, its solid as a rock.

Ibanez: RG's are great but taking the risk of a Floyd Rose or a EdgeIII good luck
Schecters:Not my style more personal for you so go try out some, Damiens and Omens were my thing back when I was 14
ESP: ONLY get the Eclipse or the Horizon nothing else I swear its for your own good. But don't go past the stripped down versions of Eclipse.
Epiphone: I'd choose the Gibson standard but budget wise its a good guitar put some SD Blackouts and its more metal than it can handle.

The esp ltd MH-200FM is the BEST
I got it last Christmas in the red color and it is my baby
The floating tremolo stays in tune amazingly
The coil-tap allows you to go from over the top distortion and gain all the way down to warm clean
The maple top is super beautiful and the reversed headstock gives the guitar a heavy metal look that i like
and the neck is flat and fast with just enough curve to contour to my hand and be comfortable
plus it's only $400
you cant go wrong with ESP!!!
