While I am a big fan of the 90's cartoon network, I feel like I'm the only one who thinks cartoon network is starting to get their shit together after being nothing but crap for 4 years now. Sure they still air live action shit, but they only air on Wednesdays & don't air that often. CN has been making good shows lately like

MTV had Linkin Park running all day. My mom didn't know anything about games so I beat Metal Gear which was rated M for mature when I was 6. Then she's gonna have the nerve of trying to stop me from getting Assassin's Creed when it came out because of violence. Anyway, go 90's cartoon Network!
Cartoon Network used to ROCK the house back in the day. Now it's gone. The only good thing is Adult Swim. With The Boondocks and Robot Chicken. Cartoon Network sucks today, and with these live-action shows and movies in the channel, it's like it wants to be like Nickelodeon. MTV has gone down the toilet too with all those reality shows like Teen Mom and Jersey Shore. Bunch of limp-dick attention whores. It's a motherfucking vicious circle.

All the new shows can go on CN2 (because I've heard ppl who got hooked on Adventure time or Ben 10) while all the old shows can take back their rightful place on cartoon network. Plus, they can put Adult Swim on CN2 while Cartoon Network can have 24 hr., toonami, ccf, and the old logo again. @dagizzle4sizzle toon disney is gone. they changed it to disney XD since the people of Disney noticed that Disney Channel was a girls channel they decided to make Toon Disney into a channel aimed at young to pre teen boys. and thats how Disney XD came to be.

@TheAppleMan100 actually Cartoon Network went downhill at 2004 when they changed the logo and made some terrible new shows. they do have boomerang for an old channel alternate to Cartoon Network. Nick or Disney Channel never thought of that though Disney originally did but got rid of the name Toon Disney and Jetix and made messed up Disney XD. i only watch Phineas & Ferb and Suite Life of Zack and Cody not Suite Life on Deck. do u remember Pucca? I completely agree that cartoons back then were THE BEST! But the thing is 10 years from now, the kids who watch the bullshit that's on now will be our age and wishing that shows like Ben 10 and Total Drama Island were still on.

Yeah I think our age group of 13-17 is the one who grew up with these shows. The whole CN is pure, undiluted, shit. Especially that CN Real block they have now. I mean I got bored one day and went to that channel and for 2 straight hours I checked in and all that was on was Ben 10 and some show where some guy asks stupid questions on a rollercoaster. I'm a tad older *cough21cough* than the age group you're in, but I completely agree with you. The good stuff, for me, ended back in 2003-2005. Save for the RARE occasion that they replay something old (God forbid they bring back something as totally awesome as Samurai Jack or Dexter's Lab), CN fucking sucks today. I completely agree that cartoons back then were THE BEST! But the thing is 10 years from now, the kids who watch the bullshit that's on now will be our age and wishing that shows like Ben 10 and Total Drama Island were still on.

Im gonna need alot of towels to get all the tears off my screen. DAMN WE WERE SPOILED! We had all these GREAT SHOWS on when most of us were younger, shows that we grew up with, and now most of them have been changed/altered or just completely taken off and Im starting to miss them. The reason why Im on my PC or playing videogames 9/10 percent of my freetime is because television has went on the hayride to hell.

the older shows were better, 10X b better. TV has gone down the toilet, can't help but wounder what will happen to the minds of the new generations. toonomie and cartoon cartoon were the last things to be taken , now what should we do>

Yeah I think our age group of 13-17 is the one who grew up with these shows. The whole CN is pure, undiluted, shit. Especially that CN Real block they have now. I mean I got bored one day and went to that channel and for 2 straight hours I checked in and all that was on was Ben 10 and some show where some guy asks stupid questions on a rollercoaster. And I thought to myself after thinking about the ol' days and said out loud " WHAT THE FUCK AM I WATCHING!?!?!?!"

@toadettegirl12 heh im 13. but ur right my cousins never even heard of cow and chicken or dexter. i had to bust out my old tapes. they loved it and i showed them more of the shows that used to be on but aren't anymore or are on boomerang. speaking of boomerang, i think they are getting rid of boomerang because kids think its for old people. old ppl dont even remember those.

I'm a tad older *cough21cough* than the age group you're in, but I completely agree with you. The good stuff, for me, ended back in 2003-2005. Save for the RARE occasion that they replay something old (God forbid they bring back something as totally awesome as Samurai Jack or Dexter's Lab), CN fucking sucks today. I really do pity today's youth, hell, even you to a small extent. You guys will never had the good shit we had back in the 90's *cough-GARGOYLES-BATMAN:TAS-cough*

Also can people quit falsely claiming they were 90's kids because logically you would have to be born in the late 80's and early 90's to have the mental capacity to understand what you was watching.

And before Adult Swim came on CN. I remember staying up late one Thursday night on Columbus Day weekend 2000 and watched Powerpuff Girls, Cow & Chicken, and Dexter's Labratory. Kids do that nowadays and they watch some of the crud on Adult Swim. I wish more of the older shows were on DVD.
