Not all of the kids tv shows from ABC TV's past were cartoons.."Lunch With Soupy Sales","Sky King","H.R.Puffinstuff","Anima­ls/Animals/Animals","Super Circus","Circus Boy"and "The ABC Weekend Specials"were live.

@4thekidsTV I totally agree, there were some awesome live shows on tv: KORG 70,00 BC, ARK II, Space Academy, Jason of Star Command, WESTWIND, THUNDER, Search & Rescue: The ALPHA Team, The RED-HAND Gang, The CBS Chidren's Film Festival, and yours truly: The Kroft SUPERSHOW and SUPERSTAR Hour. The list goes on and on. They may have been live, but just like cartoons, they were ALL THAT!!!!

With the exception of Mr.Dick Clark's "ABC TV Saturday Morning Sneak Peek"tv special from the fall of 1983. No other ABC TV special ever did a proper tribute to ABC's kids tv shows of the past.

Kaptain Kool (Michael Lembeck) is a director now. Nashville (Louise Duart), is a preacher's wife and married to Squire Rushnell. Turkey (Mickey McNeil) runs youth center now, in the Northeast. Anyone know what became of Superchick?
