  • Your welcome, and u thnks for ur upload,so people see what happened ,now check the tsunamy's of the resent past, all on and by places where those plastic belts driven, the ocean is heating up because of it,marine ecology die,and can't do their job anymore, because of this big f****ng problem, and peeps on land get sick because of it,oceans and their vortexes have the meaning to cool the earths atmospheric climate.

  • @WildChildDos You are right. Best wishes to you.

  • We can almost everything re-use,what we use,now-a-days,so don't throw it away,or think, earth gives us,and keep on doing that, wrong bet,we learn from the past, and we learn from what we see, hail to the king babe, sieg techno, heil problem solvers, now on a global scale,so we can life that rich live we life,on and on,and on,and on...........yeah life is a battle in nature, and that one is a serious opponent,if we don't respect it in all it's beauty and moves!

  • This is the dis lac of peoples behavior, throwing, day in day out, plastic packages on land, wind blows it away, and finally it arrives all there,in those ocean vortexes, also they r just stupid, and there must be investments in those areas,so that it will never happen again.

What i've seen through internet, how they life in some areas, and how they go on in dailly life with earth, makes me angry, the offspring is finally victim of this,in a way, nobody has overseen.

    i got solutions for it,good ones!!!amen.

  • @WildChildDos thanx 4 ur comments

  • @jamesfelp

You are ignorant prat! And one of the the reasons our planet is dying! Wake up and use your brain for something other than video games and reality tv. Egad, naive, brainless goons like you make me sick. You're just selfish!!

  • @jamesfelp Explain.

  • HAIKU

    I hatch! Crawl! And swim!

Oh how I love my sweet life,

    Please don’t hunt me.

  • another dumb video.

    another conspiracy propaganda crap.

    water is fine kids.

  • @001001sith huh? "conspiracy propaganda"? the only place where u c my words is on the first slide, which is repeated as the closing slide. the rest are photos of actual garbage, some have their own captions/legends/texts.

  • @001001sith Just photos. Where's the "conspirarcy propaganda"?

  • terrible thing. a BIG problem so poorly known by people. it's something that affects us all, not only people from Japan, Russia, the US, Canada or Mexico. I'm from Chile on the South Pacific Ocean coast and I'm equally concerned about this "garbage patch" and sea pollution. Search for "Algalita" Marine Research Foundation, which's been researching about the "patch" for several years: algalita.org - Greetings from Valparaíso, Chile.

  • @blokuk Hello to friend in Valparaiso. Yes, we share the same ocean in our planet. A pollution here is a pollution there. I will search for "Algalita" Marine Research Foundation. Thanks.

  • THE FUUUUUUU?

  • 3:38.......

  • we need to do something NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @HeatherVintage88 U R right. Act now!

  • well i dont agree what about the turtles the fish what about the doulphs we need to save our planet i know that and im in grade 8 so every were everyone should be help cleening the pacific ocean

  • @artqueststudio 100% AGREE!!!!!

  • @artqueststudio I respect your views which are very fatalistic and pessimistic. I respectfully beg to disagree.

  • A very potent and thought provoking video. I definitely agree. Please think next time you buy something in plastic or take a carrier bag from the supermarket...

Do you really need it? Can you reuse some old ones or better still invest in a bag for life?

  • We've denied our children the beauty of the ocean... I'm ashamed that I've contributed to this ecological disaster...

  • @starksource We can all contribute in helping to clean up our mess. Spread the word about using and reusing or not using certain items, such as plastics.

  • Thank you for contributing work creating awareness for the poisoning of our oceans with plastics. If all the world could be set into producing weapons and war for all of 5 years during World War 2 and cold war for 50 to 70 years then hopefully we can set it to clean up plastics for 5 to 70 years.

  • well, i used the same plastic waterbottle for like 3 months before throwing it out. and i use plastic bags from groceries as garbage bags as well. the last computer i threw out was windows 3.1 and my cell phone company took back my old phones. i rarely use plastic and throw it away after one use. i hope im contributing to help stop this problem.

  • @xanafanadu That's gr8. Spread d word about what u do to re-use plastic. Others can learn from u. Second-hand computer stores will be glad 2 get your old computer as they can revive them & resell them as cheap second-hand computers. Best wishes 2 all your gr8 efforts.

  • @xanafanadu careful with using water bottles made of plasic for more than one use... their original intent was for single use and over numerous uses with that same bottle can be really toxic.

  • Please join my new group on facebook "The Plastic Soup of Our Oceans" , so we can talk about this issue and how we can get people to realize just how bad it is and that we need to pay attention to what we are throwing away are where it is going!

  • Shocking!!!!! Hope this video make something in the hearts of these humans.... :-(

  • @Thamson95 I hope we humans will change our ways of using materials that will not harm the environment where we and the future generation will live.

  • @riddimshakk thanks for the help.

  • This is a MAJOR TRAGEDY in the scope of the gulf oil spill, but this WILL get WORSE!!!!!!! This issue is VASTLY underreported!!!!!!!!

aND CLEANING an ocean is NOT EASY--- I WOULD SAY CLOSE TO IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!! Try to THINK ABOUT HOW TO GET BILLIONS of SMALL plastic, nylon, stryofoam, and other PELLETS OUT OF THE OCEAN!!

SAVE THE EARTH AND SHE SHALL SAVE YOU!!

    ?

  • @thetechnoPIMP Oil rots , that plastic will be there for hundreds of years, assuming that mankind survives that long.

  • Intense! Now I'm pissed!

  • I'm glad there are people such as you who help clean the beaches. Too bad we use & throw plastic everywhere. Thanks for your & your team's great efforts!

  • What is he waiting for ?

  • the end , 10 years from now

  • @ematech I thought the end was supposes to be 2012.

  • thank you; yes, it is all about working together to eliminate the plastic that is continuing to destroy aquatic life.... your video was very moving and will hopefully reach more influential people that will make the positive changes needed to improve the state of our oceans.

  • Yes, we all have to continue to work together to eliminate all disposable plastics from our daily living.

  • I'm glad & I hope there will be more fashion designers & people like you who will work together will all like-minded people to eliminate all disposable, non-biodegrable plastics from our daily lives.

  • U R right: it's not just a personal issue, but a systemic problem from the system that breeds & supports profit based on greed.

  • I've been following this, and I have tried to cut out my plastic usage, especially bags. I've been bringing my own to the store. There has to be a change, but it must really be system wide and at a higher organizational level than a personal choice to really help. There are other alternatives to non-biodegradable plastics, we have to make it mandatory to use them and other things. But every time I see this, and things like it, I can't help but think about the movie 'Solent Green".

  • Yeah, I remember Soylent Green, the movie. Life on Earth will be so different, as the globally imposed exploitative economic system wreaks havoc on our closed environmental system.

  • @reyty2 That film is becoming a reality , the oceans are emptying of fish, overpopulation , overconsumption, total deforestation, food and water shortages.

No political will to stop it could mean the end of homo sapiens within a few hundred years but at least someone got rich along the way.

  • @hablerz We inhabitants of this planet have to make changes. We cannot simply rely on others. But at the same time we need to educate others to act differently in order to save our planet.
