@brendankelly45 yeah i just had to load an older save and the second time i got through pretty easy.. if the prisoner dies before you get to him your pretty much stuck until you get to a save where he's alive .

I'm having a problem with the compass on my xbox, It won't let me know where the quest is, the marker won't show up, also I know that the "In My Time Of Need" quest takes place in Whiterun but if I put my curser on Whiterun it doesn't tell the quest as it should. Basically I'm playing in the dark. If I go to the list in the menu I click on the quest and an icon shows up next to it but when I click on the objective it highlights but an icon doesn't show up as it should, used to not anymore ideas

@mrstenify On the quest "In my time of need" there is not meant to be a compass marker, you're meant to look around Whiterun and find the woman. She is in one of the inns ussually.

@mrstenify in my time in need? You have to find the redgaurd, she has darker skin and a black crew cut, shes normally in the inn, shouldn't be hard to find her. But it won't show up because you need to FIND her on your own, thats all it is...
