The graphics were a little smoother on the N64, but the PSX version owned thanks to the CD quality music, the grudge promo vids, and of course the hot little bit of stuff who seduces you from her limo in challenge mode. Gameplay was pretty clunky and slow-moving on both.

Overall, an accurate representation of the Attitude era... great memories.

I had this on PS1. The sound was better than the N64 version, but it had load times and the graphics were inferior.

I always wondered though, why are guys like Bret and Ahmed Johnson in the game? The game came out in 1998 and those guys were gone by that point.

Because War Zone was due out in 97 and pushed back a couple of months to add Kane & HHH. Hart & Johnson were still top stars at the time & the roster was already small. So Acclaim left them in.
