  • muito bonita ! parabéns !

  • what is this? I am a migraine patient and someone told me the "trigeminus" had something to do wiith migraine so i googled. what am i looking at?

  • The fifth cranial nerve ("Trigeminus"), which originates from the brain and goes along the jaw, has been irritated and damaged by an artery. So it causes (occasionally) extreme pain to the patient.

You can see the white fibre, which is the affected nerve, and the pulsating artery. Now the surgeon implants a "pillow" to divide both nerv and artery.

  • @LemonAndYoghurt You're looking at the trigeminal nerve which is a nerve (pair of nerves) that arises directly from the brain. The nerve can become strangled by a blood vessel which can result in random shooting (almost gunshot like) pains.

  • Bela cirurgia, Du!

    Parabéns!!!!

  • Sehr eindrucksvolle Darstellung. Danke
