  • Too much background noise

  • yeah go Rosa!!

    -Alyssa

  • This slut in the video needs to use condoms!

  • @drcajus You are a living, breathing turd.

  • John McCain's real running mate is

George Bush, not the trojan moose!

  • C'mon people, VERY FEW voters are concerned about issues like this, and we waste a question on it?

  • Furthermore, Rossi won't change what Washingtonians have already decided upon.

When has this been a REAL issue in WA? You're from Tacoma - tell me of ANY area in Tacoma where you can't get Plan B (you aren't forced to use one pharmacy)

  • @GOWASHINGTONSTATE So i guess that's it, huh? once something has been decided there's no use in bringing it up again, right? Wrong. Plus could you conceive of the fact that she's not asking the question solely for herself?

  • @GOWASHINGTONSTATE How is the question wasted? Who cares that "very few voters are concerned with issues like this..." should we all only ask questions based on their popularity? What are you a teenager?

  • @HelicopterRedFlag

And you're commenting on a video pertaining to a race that was decided 2 years ago. Interestingly enough your profile was created 2 months later.

Glad you keep up on current events.

    Regards

  • @GOWASHINGTONSTATE The comments are still up aren't they? People still read them don't they? Ignorance must still be squashed mustn't it?

  • @HelicopterRedFlag

    "That's ignorant."

    -Mr. Jefferson

  • In Washington the good govenor Gregoire has pressured our board of Pharmacy to adopt a policy that requires pharmacists to fill orders for the Morning after pill. Gregoire considers the law fair b/c it allows an objecting pharmacists to ask a co-worker who doesn't object to fill the order (if one is available).

The case is headed to the Ct. of Appeals where it will be argued on one side by a pharmacist named Storman and the ACLU on the other.

  • This is so stupid. In Washington State the Democrats rig the elections.

Dead people vote for Democrats in Washington State.

So don't waste your breath lady thinking you have a democracy in your state.

4 more years of the Democrat for you lady whether you like it or not.

  • fyi: in Canada, it is now ILLEGAL for any doctor to refuse treatment he/she would find contrary to his religious sensitivities. He would receive a warning but there after he will then be squeezed out of his profession all together. As long as we live in a secular ruled society there is NO ambiguity to how the laws apply to anyone. If you want religious rule...go to Israel or Pakistan.

  • wtf are you people talking about, this girl is beautiful, and its a straight to the point question, the needs of the people should always come first, with in a means of the law

  • who cares jus pull out n giv her a big old money shot!

  • you are so ugly

  • Great!

  • people should stop stupid ugly fat chiks from breeding. they bring mongrels into this world.

and the mongrels always end up living like shit.

  • Whassup Truth Police? we need that dead people vote. I am looking forward to it.

  • Hey lady save your question.

In Washington State the Democrats have figured out how to rig election. They have dead people vote.

So next election rest assured the Democrats will win. they have the dead people vote.

  • I find u hot :$

  • the pharmasist, should give out the pills, here in switzerland its even the law, the pharmasist should not have the power to mae descisions about someone elses life

  • if you have money, you can do a lot of things in the usa

  • i clicked it because there was a hot chick there and all i heard was...........not a fuck of alot............. that i understood anyways

  • That's a beautiful reply.

  • Dino '08!

  • In a world where people care too much, I couldn't care less.

  • i have no idea of what she just said what so ever

  • Well in Washington State the Democrats have perfected the dead voter scam.

So next election look for the Democrats to roll out just enough dead voters to swing the election.

  • i'd hit after 12 beers

  • Women have many reasons for the morning after pill? What? I can think of one, anyway, they're CHOICE was to spread their legs for a sperm donor!

  • use condoms...

  • Perhaps since Google owns Youtube they should encourage contestants to do a very simple Google search before submitting questions. Such a simple search seems to show that both have taken a position on Plan B.

Let me suggest asking questions that haven't already been answered, such as questions based on their past statements and actions.

For instance, ask CG about this appointment:

    peekURL com/zc5de6g

  • Pharmacists are first people. People have the right to their own free will. Including the right to refuse in assisting in murder.

  • hell no, he/she is there to do his/her job. If they can't because of "personal bliefs" then they shouldn't be a pharmacist.

  • i'd hit but you'd deff have to use the morning after pill because i dont want your ugly genes ruining my offspring

  • The election is over. The Democrats have figured out how to get enough dead people to vote democrat.

Just like in the last election where 800 dead people voted.

    Cool trick. And it worked.

  • Hey Rosa, easy, keep your pants on. Keep your slutty hands off my moral decision.

  • Lol she looks like a whore i know!

  • don't be bringing your mother into this.

  • My question for the candidates: Why are hotdogs never recalled?

  • We dont tell hardware stores what products to sell, we dont tell grocers what groceries to sell, why should we tell pharmacists what drugs to sell? The government should not be making decisions for private business, nor should they interfere with markets. You have the right to choose what drug store you buy from, and the drug store has a right to refuse service to you.

  • Hopefully this hasn't been said before in this thread:

Have you ever noticed how many people will scream and cry about a Pharmacist not providing this form of birth control (the morning after pill) but you never hear anybody voice the same concern that the majority of physicians and surgeons refuse to perform abortions? Even though it is entirely legal?

  • Being a surgeon doesn't imply that you would preform every kind of operation. In fact some surgeons might be un-qualified to preform an abortion. As a pharmacist your job is to dispense any medication that you have on hand and be able to measure it out properly. Big difference between the two jobs.

  • Actually no. There are plenty of very qualified DR.s and surgeons who refuse to perform abortions. Individuals have personal choice. Personal freedoms.

Just as a DR. has a right to refuse to perform an abortion and point a patient in the correct direction so should a Pharmacist. There are plenty of places to get the RX filled.

Take away somebodies right to make a personal choice? Why that's like saying, "There's no medical reason why you need an abortion. Sorry you can't have one."

  • Actually yes. Someone who says I'm a surgeon doesn't imply that they will preform any kind of operation. This is different from the Pharmacist because the pharmacy carries the birthcontrol (plan b) with the intent of selling it. If we followed the example of the surgeon and abortion then the pharmacist who refuses to dispense birthcontrol would be like a surgeon working in an abortion clinic who refuses to preform abortion.

  • Atheist1717- What you say must be true, Tiller the killer ('Dr.'? George Tiller) performs late term killings in Wichita Ks. His eyesight was too bad to be certified as a REAL surgeon, I guess he can find the hole!

  • You misunderstood what I said. I didn't say that all surgeons cannot preform them. I said that by calling yourself a surgeon there is no implication that you would preform an operation like that. There is a subtle difference.

  • Actually there is no difference. You are choosing to narrowly define one role and broadly define another in order to try to make your point. I personally don't care if they do or don't. It's like me going to a store to buy condoms. If the store I go to doesn't carry them I just go down the street. I don't care if it is the owners choice or not if they carry them. They just aren't there. Pharmacies are everywhere, walk down the street.

  • Pharmacies are NOT Everywhere!

  • I've been driving all over town today. Actually multiple towns and every single grocery store had one. Plus Rite-Aid, Costco, Walgreens, Wall-Mart, Fred Meyer. Some within just a couple blocks of the other. Now of course that isn't going to be the case absolutely everywhere but neither is it the case that a Pharmacist everywhere is refusing to dispense PlanB.

  • Pharmacists shouldn't be given free choice in this matter. They are there to provide a service and if they cannot/refuse to do so then they shouldn't be allowed to continue their job.

  • Yes there is, when someone walks into a pharmacy they expect to be able to purchase whatever medication they have been legally prescribed. When you walk into a doctor's office you don't expect that the doctor can/will preform any surgery or any test.

  • How many times are you going to try to use the same argument with nothing new? Both of these last comments don't hold water. The last one still doesn't take into account the myriad of other options available to the consumer.

  • I didn't use the same argument. The first time I was talking about the difference between Surgeons and Pharmacists (because you brought it up). Now I'm talking about why a Pharmacist should do his/her job. It's not the same argument...

  • The laws should make our state better not just assume that there are other options. What if all of the pharmacists in a small town decide they don't want to hand out a certain medication. Should people be expected to drive to another city to buy medication? That's like saying "Why should we fix the school system, people can just move to Oregon."

  • I don't want the government to legislate every minute detail of my life. I don't want them to legislate that for somebody else.

But people often choose where they live based on the school system and what it has to offer so maybe not such a good example.

Nice discussion though. Thanks!! I probably won't be replying anymore after this.

  • Pharmacists should be given free choice in the matter, because that is the will of the people as voiced by the legislature and manifested in our laws.

In my humble opinion, the law should be based on the voice of the people rather than Atheist1717's say so. Sorry.

  • It's a secular country so you can't apply religion to the laws. Remember, islam is the fastest growing religion...one day you would regret your words.

  • Let me just remind you that just because someone wants to do something doesn't mean they should be allowed to do it. Lets pretend I want to kill someone, by your argument that's the will of the people so I should be allowed to do it because I want to.

  • No. Murder has been specifically legislated against.

And if it is finalized that a DR. is required to fill that RX then so be it.

I'm specifically arguing that I (me personally) believe that it should be a choice. And that there are enough alternatives for that to be a valid argument. Market forces and community pressure will more than likely be the dictator of that pharmacy. Chances are that it will lose business if the local public feels strongly enough that PlanB should be sold there.

  • You're right, that was a bad analogy.

It shouldn't be a choice when it is as important as medication prescribed by a Dr. The state takes away your choices when your choice becomes life threatening or will cause lasting harm.

  • So, sswanny001, just because something is legislated against, that makes it wrong? Was Hitler right in his actions because his actions were "legal" and not legislated against?

  • Look:

If you are a pharmacist that owns your own company you have the right to set some boundaries.

This is the problem with pure leftist thinking. The government is here for you to use to make people think and do only what you want them to. If somebody has an opinion or a belief that differs in the slightest then legislation needs to be laid down to suppress that and force them to do what YOU (the liberal wants).

  • @sswanny001 Not at all true. The thinking behind this is creating laws that keep opinionated pharmacists from keeping meds or drugs from people based on personal philosophy. This is very important in rural areas where there might be only one pharmacy for many miles.

  • You seem very passionate about your rights. However, have you considered the rights of the Pharmacist? You still have the right to go to a different pharmacy.

  • Why should a pharmacist's non-medical beliefs trump my medical need for an FDA- approved, over the counter medication?

  • The pharmacists is not a robot. They are people to with values and beliefs. They have the right to act or not act according to those values and beliefs. Just go to a different pharmacy.

  • The point is that emergency contraception is a time sensitive medication. My pharmacist isn't my doctor; thier job isn't to determine whether or not I should have access to medication but to make sure that medications don't react negatively with other medications. Also, what if I live in a rural area and there isn't another pharmacy for miles?

  • There are many ways to achieve your goal without taking away the right of the Pharmacists. It is the Pharmacists business and they should be able to conduct that business in a manner that they feel if morally responsible. Doctors have the same rights. If they don't want to do abortions. No mandates that they have to. Moral decisions should not be mandated by law.

  • keep those questions coming!!

  • Why is this no longer under the video responses section of the main page? Voters clearly want it to be included!

  • Good question, but it needs to be expanded to ask "would you require a pharmacist to refuse potentially lifesaving saving medication, even if the medication is prescribed by a doctor known to provide full medical services to women?" This could easily be expanded to include medications to manage chronic pain.

  • I hope the answer is pharmacist need to do their job.

  • Good question

  • If you can't dispense all legal drugs, you are not qualified to be a pharmacist.

  • Solid question. If you start telling pharmacists what they get to decide, where does it end? Does a doctor get to refuse to dispense cancer or AIDS drugs because they doing like smokers and think that every AIDS patient is homosexual?

  • I would really like to hear the candidates' answers to this question.

  • this question should be easy for jill strait to answer.

  • Sarcastic and immature name. For shame.

  • More astroturf?

  • Cute name, especially with the Rossi spokesperson being Jill Strait.
