If you've ever sat on the other side and done an interview, you would know that people look for ways to classify candidates. Some set of criteria, that they can use to justify a choice. Usually the choice is not really about the criteria, but it feels bette if you can justify it someway. You're doing well here, try to leverage your work here to improve your situation.

You just go somewhere, preferrably a place where people will not be disturbed, no pun intended, and just scream your stress out. With "Laugh Therapy", secluded place needed not so much. Just laugh. Fake it. Your mind releases the very same chemicals as if you were truly laughing. Then what you MUST do is video all of this for me, ah, us.

Hm, I relate to "it's complicated" from one of my 'stories'.. different situation, but similar somehow. Given the importance of at least 1 degree, along with valuing patience and pacing oneself, consider writing down a few plausible ways your plans to finish could work out. Just brief paragraphs or lists. Include less desirable options too, maybe a 2 year degree at first, distance learning (online courseware), tuition reimbursement from at a decent (or tolerable) job, etc. ..
...credit transfers too, if you hesitate to return to your last school or major. Review and revise your written/imagined plans every 3-5 weeks to keep them 'alive' and positive. When you interview, if/when asked, feel free to expand on one of your preferred plans in which you find some confident flexibility. Many interviewers will see a maturity and wisdom in your self-aware and patience ambition. At least some ideas..
