i find that knee hooping with only one leg like this is actually more difficult because it slants the hoop....it seems to be out of control. Try using the other leg as the back push (instead of standing still). This way you can step and move/dance while knee hooping and it will stay level :)
Thanks for pointing out a different method sensesublimity. If you have trouble with a certain move its really helpful to have a alternative to try. What works for one person may not work so well for another.
So thanks :) x
I found though if the hoop does slant to keep the moving foot on the floor and try to keep it flat-ish and only try to move your knee in the circular motion.
yes i struggled with that one for months.. but your video really broke things down for me and i got it with just a few days practice.. your tutorials are very well done
lol yes thats on my list of 'next tutorials to make' .
Then Im going to use all the moves Ive made into tutorials so far and put them together in another video to show how they can link together and turn it into a routine x
i like the way you can see what you're doing in slomo, i can get the hoop down to my knees but it drops under my 'still' leg... so can't get it up again! practice practice
hey thanks for the comment,my hoop is 39 inches and weighs approx 650g.
This is what Ive always used,i guess heavier is better for learning as the hoop goes slower so you get more time to move.I hope this helps you in some way :)xx
I'm having difficulties hip hooping, but in my attempts I managed to knee hoop but I couldn't get it to go back up again
