@Shardfenix It's not that I left over a bad set, I just fell out of touch with all the people I used to play with and lost interest. Lorwyn wasn't the best set gameplay-wise, but I adored the art, setting, and "tribal" theme.

I've since lost interest again, sadly, but I have good memories of Lorwyn/Shadowmoor.

Well I love control, and therefore I'm a little biased towards Ravnica (Signets, Lightning Helix...). I didn't like the tribal theme of Lorwyn at first but I found there are still ways to play control... Faeries and Reveillark are both fine archetypes in T2 and Lorwyn Block constructed.

you know the number on there card right?

lets say its liliana vess she has 3 markers (i believe) you use the 1+ both players discard a card or something or with jace both people draw a card then you add +1 to its markers making it a 3 to a 4 and then eventualy you can do the cards special which for liliana is -8 and returns ALL creatures from ALL graveyards to the field under your control so 10 creatures in your grave and in opponet and boom you just raped your opponet

Sort of a lame expansion. Almost everything in the set could be solved by Pyroclasm, and the rest could be solved by Wrath of God. In a duel, Lorwyn has made the clock fast enough to make Wrath too slow, but in multiplayer, you usually aren't going to win with your shitty kithkin deck against someone's well-tuned reanimator or rock deck. Not to mention the fact that Morningtide had practically no good cards that didn't cost more than five bucks a pop.

i was just wandering if ne one could get back to me on this but the card BOGGART SHANANIGANS--- well the text says that ne time a goblin from play goes into the grave target player loses one life? so is that only creatures or can tribal sorceries and instants be those also? i mean mad auntie says regenerate target goblin and of course you can regenerate an instant or sorcery so it can only be creatures. so what is the shananigans rule? please ne one tell me as fast as they can thanks!!!

Technically, sorceries and instants never "come into play" so they would not be going into the graveyard from play.

Nah they're REALLY weak, but with the ultimate defense of elves...plus theyre healing abilities, tokens and best of all, that

card that has a tap effect that puts X 1+1 counters on target creatures where X is number of eleves in play and tap her to put an elf token and all eleves you control have 1+1

kithkin are NOTHING compared to the elves in gameplay and what if u have more than 1 wren's run packmaster? its really easyto find elf cards in ure deck like wirewood herald or elvish harbringer...owned? plus even when oblivion ring is destroyed it brings my card back to play and i could sacrifice my elf to trigger many abilities of my elves and then use recolect to get him back....easy!!!! kithkin suck!

i made a fire elemental deck to try get out two seasless searblades together and use soulbright flamkin on them... their abillity will cycle and you can kill anyone... p.s. seasless sear blades get +1/0 each time you activate an elemental's active effect... so two together you can get inffinate

soulbright flamekin's ablilty only gives you the mana back after the THIRD time they resolve so it can't be infinite. it will hurt but not infinite

foil basic lands are worth nothing. I just bought a lorwyn elf theme deck, it's good but you have to change a lot of cards. But I think my red and blue combo deck is better.

I hope Lorwyn makes the games a lot more interesting the way Ravnica did. Me and my friends all have our bit of Vorthos in us, and battles like Simic vs. Rakdos were always in-theme and you could feel the tension between guilds, yeah I'm a Vorthos... Go go Lorwyn!

I just love RAVNICA so much. I even completed whole block x4. It was a whole new era in magic; that's why i'm loving it. It was an usher. But RAVNICA did it well by ushering a new era. They won't. The races are merfolk, giant, faerie, treefolk, kithkin, elf, elemental, and goblin. It's tribal themed. Each of the tribes span at least 2 colors.
