I think it's interesting the comments so far have been largely comparing this performance to those from American cheerleading teams. Even though this is missing some of the polish and difficulty of American cheerleading teams, I was still quite impressed -- and this is coming from an American cheerleader. I think everyone on the team should have been very proud of themselves for this performance.
@Decembirth all i know is that its not very common in australia, yes there is cheerleading but there isnt a high school squad and it can be hard to find a squad :| i think it was carried over from america
aussies dont really get the oppertunity to cheeerlead in th us there are squads at their schools we dont have that in australia so we have to join a squad out of school and their arnt many around so its very hard.
they dont..i was just making an example of why other teams get to stuff that aussies cant...because even though they are technically in teh same level the standards vary from country to country
ohh haha i was like wow. ive done cheer for three years and i still don't know this? haha. but the outlaws have changed SOOO much since then...theyre amazing now :)
@Emmahbee i KNOW Australia doesnt have level 8...i was saying that American level 5 is equivalent to Australian level 8 or so (if such a level existed...which it doesnt)...if you'd bothered to read all the comments then you'dve realised i replied to another person who said the exact same thing
@Killy1Leo Sorry but I don't generally read all the normal comments. Only the ones where people seem to embarrass themselves and make themselves seem rude. Which you just did in this comment.
@Emmahbee well i'm sorry but that wasn't my intention...i thought you were implying that i had no idea what i was talking about, and i didn't appreciate it. Sorry
thought the routine was cute and clean with the exception of a few errors. Loved the stunts though. Had they been cleaner it would have been awesome but well done all the same guys. Great attempt.
I think that is a good starting routine and I'm sure once all the little mistakes and that get left out a very competitive routine. I liked how some girls did standing backsaults (although a bit messy) and really liked the ending sequence with all the dance.
AZTRE - obviously you are free to make any comments you wish but would appreciate it if you could refrain from swearing when doing so as Juniors from our club wanted to see this vidow but obviously we cannot direct them nor their parents there because of you....
timing....

What is Cheerleading like for Europeans and Australians?
Any history as to how it carried over from America to overseas?

It is to them, this isn't in America. Cheerleading hasn't been around for as long everywhere else and isn't as popular
