Do a search on LaGrange, Kentucky USA if you want to see a huge flock of European Starlings that won't go away! The only thing that keeps them up in the air is a BFG Air Canon. They are comparing it to an Alfred Hitchcock movie except the birds aren't attacking people. . . yet. haha

I totally recognize that square from Hot Fuzz. lol It's on Netflix... I should watch it again soon. I love when flocks of birds do that synchronized stuff. So beautiful and adding the music was perfect. Nice pot and pan, like the colour. Sunset and music what a nice ending.

Starlings are amazing! I guess they flock like that when they chase clouds of insects in mid-air?

It's interesting - you seem to be out mid-day and they are flying. Out here in N California they can ONLY be seen at pre-dusk - just as the sun begins to subside - typically between 5-6 pm.

Re BIRDS - if you and Sara (and Kate & Cory ) can make it our here in the fall of 2012, I can take you to Bodega Bay where Alfred Hitchcock filmed The Birds!! Oh - again, your sis is TOO CUTE!
