  • wow

  • v10 in e60 sound mutch mutch better

  • @Tommy2009ful For sure man, the v8 in the e92 sounds amazing as well ... but they're not practical with these times.... torque at high rpm is great for track and sound but horrible for daily use .. too much gas

  • DAMN, thats going to suck when the rings don't set right and you have a car boosting a 1.5 bar (22 psi) SOUNDS LIKE FUTURE PROBLEMS!

  • great to drive very powerful !!!

  • It never went to 300. Only 293. I'm pretty sure it can't go 300.

  • @steenfraosterbro the new m5 cant hit 186mph? wow your retarded

  • @Sunny279719 I might be retarded, but I do pick up on irony

  • that car is not a whore! you can't fuck it just after 40 km!

  • only 42 KM nd you flooorrr it?? The most stupid 0 - 300 ever

  • Apparently it is recommended for bikes to be broken in hard , i don't see what wrong with doing the same to a car .

  • If you brake it in gently the performance will be gently too!!!

  • @1300BMWKS agreed !

  • @1300BMWKS that is the biggest load of crap i ever heard... if you brake the car in gently the car will be at its best performance later .. I have done it and believe me my car is faster that people with the exact same model!

  • *ding

    Speed Warning

    *ding

    Speed Warning

    "OH SHUT UP!"

  • good engine brake in!!!!

  • And then you realize that the biggest part of the "amazing" engine sound is digital and coming from the speakers. Big fail in my opinion. And beyond me for that matter.

  • what is on first gear

  • Miss the V10 Engine

  • My m6 is faster!

  • @audinoob Mine too :DDDDDD

  • 0:43: Were you going to pass someone? (look at the light indicator). I hope that wasn't a Polski Fiat or the BMW'm brakes were also tested hard...

  • i think warranty dont cover engine abuse!

  • My fucken son

  • V10

    we remember [*]

  • Fuck this. My boss has just got one of these and i guarantee it wont see 7000 rpm for a few thousand miles. AT LEAST!

  • And this, children, is what you DONT do to an engine before breaking it in

  • @CarbineGuy precision machining has put an end to that requirement... it's already "broken in"

  • @CarbineGuy they are rich arabs, like they care bout a €150.000 car xD

  • Might be a stupid question, but... manual or DCT?

  • For those who dont/didn't know the sound is fake. It is computer generated, bmw have put a sound generator just for the inside cabine, because if you hear it from the outside, it doens't resemble this sound not even close.. I hate how bmw has come to a point of turning to sound generators.. their engines used to be music to anyone's ears.. I hate this engine even though it is so fast.

  • @L1ndja I prefer M5 V10. great true sound, a real pleasure for the ears. :)

  • @Jamaltheboss all the way man :)

  • this sound is awesome... but to hard for 40 km ^^

  • engine does not sound sexy =/

  • You're able to drive it like this after less miles than the recommended run in period but after buying a $100,000 car I would definitely wait more than 40km to do it.

  • i will definitely not buy this car second hand after this video

  • Run-ins are only recommended these days, nothing to stop you thrashing a car from day one. My company car (Alfa Romeo Giulietta) spent its life at the top end of its rev range, from the day I picked it up (at 200 miles thanks to the company test drive). 18,800 miles later nothing was wrong with it, apart from having burnt through three sets of tyres and a set of front suspension arms!

As an ///M owner, I'm glad to see one driven the way it should be!

  • I don't see the problem with pushing a brand new engine that just have passed 40km. If the engine has reached normal temp, then I see no problem. Just to mention, It's a god damn M-engine, Its build for this type of driving! So quit whining. I don't need a master degree to understand that. lol

  • @MrZymh1 you're just stupid...

  • @Rencznik Your just retarded

  • @MrZymh1 it voids the warranty if you drive it this hard under the specific said amount of km's

  • @iTouchHelp100 Okay? I think it shouldn't avoid warranty because, the car have to be tested and 100% ready by BMW before handing over to a customer. but hey, im not BMW Engineer. That's my opinion, I don't care if people call me stupid or whatever.

  • @MrZymh1 I agree with you 100%. I think it's stupid that they have this as a warranty breaker. I would assume that BMW actually does do testing as you said because it wouldn't make sense if they didn't. People are just retarded for thinking your stupid over an opinion.

  • To all the clueless retards whining about the engine being new. Newsflash, this engines is broken-in in the factory before its even put inside the car. So quit your whining, I bet 99% of you don't even know what could potentially happen to driving a new engine like that, you just repeat what you've heard from someone else...like parrots.

  • No seatbelt on, factory new engine not run-in and pedal to the metal ... you are stupid.

  • you're fucking a brand new engine

  • almost 300

  • This engine sounds so eerie. I love it!

  • nooooo...you have only 41km!

  • good car, shit driver...

  • Should have used launch control to stop wheelspin. That's alot of torque...

The E63 AMG 5.5 biturbo engine feels like it pulls harder however...odd given it's 10hp down (with the AMG PP)

  • How cares, it's a BMW, it'll be unreliable no matter what...

  • thats his car, he can treat it however he likes.. noobs

  • new engine..so what?

  • nice acceleration, but You are f*cking stupid boy!! it's new engine, do you know??

  • Its no problem for the Bmw to push the car like that! Hello is not a fucking pussy engine like Audi or Mercedes, Dont forget Bmw have the best experiense of building engings just ask HITLER!!

  • @gogge100 pussy engine like Audi or Merc?? lol ive never heard that a bmw engine would hold 1.000.000 miles like Mercedes's does.

  • @Byakugan172 watch?v=gHmMlU8Q-V8 here you go ... 1M miles

  • @Byakugan172 Pussy engine? waoow

  • @Byakugan172

There was for instance an E39 with 1187000KM until he had an accident with it.

  • @Byakugan172 are u kidding me mercedes engines build after 1995 have normal life for 200.000-250.000km and then the problems starts especially the diesel ones

    I can tell by experience:

    w202 diesel 200.000 melted piston

    W220 diesel 225,000 injectors + pump

    W168 petrol 200.000 broken chain

    since then no more mercedes

  • @janssen70 my dad owns a MB 2004 G class 270 cdi 360.000km and still running like a champ. the 270 cdi never has any major problems.... what are you talking about?

  • @janssen70 why my C200 cdi doesnt have any problem for 580.000 km now?.Also its the way you behave the car

  • Comment removed

  • @lelos14 so ture, i drive with a6 allroad and now i'am having 300Tkm. without any problems!!

  • Well, it's actually not a very bad sound, but it'll never ever get even close to the V10...

  • 0-20 noooooooo traction

  • 41 km. and you push this engine so hard... -.-

  • @timst1988 they are arabs, they are rich like f*ck, like they going to care bout a car which is worth like 150-200.000 euro.

  • @timst1988 42 :)))))

  • @timst1988 no problem for modern engines

  • @timst1988 to hard man ...

  • @timst1988 all m engines are pre-run in

  • @bigfatcowdog You still have a break in procedure. When I bought my E92 M3 I had to sign off on a full disclosure about the break in procedure and the warranty that goes with it.

  • @timst1988

idiot! hoffentlich geht dein motor kaputt

  • @timst1988 Don't worry, all cars are heavy duty and this car is made for performance.

  • @Skampo1119 not with only 41 km trust me dude..

  • @cursedMaul1 So basically all cars are useless until it has like 1000km on the clock... : / I kinda don't get it to be frank why low mileage cars must be treated with so much care. :O

  • @Skampo1119 you fucking moron i didn't ever mention that they are useless but it won't be smart to push it to it's max when it's that new..

  • @timst1988 He has to get a clap on his head :D

  • i hate that fake V8 Sound... it kills all the fun..

  • shame on bmw for getting rid of the v10. it was a great engine with a very unique sound (and sounded much better than this v8). the new v8 may make a few more bhp, but surely the v10 had more potential. oh well, i'll wait till the prices drop then pick up a nice used v10

  • f10

  • Why is everyone trying to justify why it's ok to thrash a brand new BMW? Everyone but Americans understand what quality means.

  • I MISS V10, THIS IS SHIP

  • It was build to get this kind of punishment you morons, read service book of it !

  • Are you crazy? -poor engine!

  • 40km, future bad engine, will eat a lot of oil...

  • Is it me or does it seem awful slow after 180 ?

  • Check the new M550d out! It's a diesel with a much better sound than this vacuum cleaner! I.M.O

    /watch?v=Ma-KBPcwRlc&feature=player_embedded

  • @TurboDifferent Your speakers sound like a vacuum cleaner.

  • LOL.....just 42km

  • Alter der sound is doch der wahnsinn welches auto hört sich bitte noch so an? einzigartig das is das was BMW ausmacht!!!! Freude am fahren!!!!

  • They’d ask top shelf number for these things, but the magic is these cars come with Toyota hybrid exhaust notes. Who would want one?

  • do these come in standard cuz when i grow up i ant a manual one

  • Come on, it's obviously delimited, I don't think they'd had the time for getting that done within the first 30 miles... I think some tampering has been done with the tacho.

  • what the fark are u okes moaning about.....all motors are already run in from the factory....u think that they just build motors and not stress test them first before sending them to be fitted into cars....your lack of knowledge makes u a noob!!!

  • i dont really think that this m5 belongs to the uploader. but if it is really his car well than, as already said, this owner is a complete idiot and he really dont know shit about cars. wealthy noob.

  • Holy Shit Dude, this engine is brand new (only 40 miles [or km]) O.O

this is a realy bad idea!

  • When we got our X6M they said not to run it hard, just let the engine get going till about 1000km.. /: Now.. that thing is a freaking beast ass monster!

  • 00040 :P

  • poor poor engine ....

  • PPPerformance.....he won't perform anything with that car if he goes on like that ^^

  • 0-293 Km/h!!

  • amazing gearbox ... oxox

  • First of all you're THE MAN for having new M5! CONGRATULATIONS..second, you're complete fuckin idiot for running brand new engine with 40 km on clock up to 300 km/h.

How the fuck can you do that to the car? ..Do you have a hart :( :( :(

  • @Inexorrian He have money thats all what counts! ;) If car brokes, buy new one ;)

  • @Inexorrian Its rented.

  • @TheEuroperules and how do you know?

  • @Inexorrian he has a heart but not a hart. Idiot.

  • @warriorforheaven stfu kid....

  • @machinejet same for you, bitchy ass.

  • @warriorforheaven lol...

  • @Inexorrian chill man, its a 560bhp car, what else are you supposed to do with it? look at it when parked?

  • @Inexorrian

how else would you break the engine in?

How do you think they test the car at the end of production line?

Certainly not by only going 50km/h...

  • @epiphonesg007 You break the engine in by driving normaly for the first 4000 km, not like this.

  • @TheSwordedge

WEll, have fun doing that and making the engine not be able to reach it maximum Horsepower.

The pistons won't seal well enough if you don't go "rough" on the engine in the begining.

Slow break in is less reliable and slower. Even if you go full RPM after those 4000km's. The piston rings won't seal well enough.

if you do a hard break-in, you need to change the oil after 50-100km's. And another time after 500km and then follow manufacterers instructions.

  • @Inexorrian actually all engines from 1985 until now are already broken-in at the factory. that "break-in" procedure is to let the driver accomodate to the car...

  • @Inexorrian

sounds like the typical shit a carless car guy would dribble out.

  • @Inexorrian maannn don´t react so hard its a german car...it cant get fucked up ;D

  • @ChritachY I know it's German, and I LOVE BMW! ..but just saying that I would never ever do this to the BRAND NEW ENGINE! ..once you make more than 20k km than you go over 300 and it's not big deal ;)

  • @Inexorrian I'm sorry but it isn't the 80's anymore... Before the cars of today leave the factories they stress test the engines and rev them to the limiter. And don't say I'm lying, cause I work at a car factory myself. Easiest way to get your brand new car to run good is to drive it as you would in your old car. The computers will adapt to that driving schedule and simply run better when you drive normally.

  • @Inexorrian - Its cause its built right.

  • @Inexorrian you are the idiot...

  • @Xeriuw0w chill man ;) ..roll a fat one, have a beer and fuck smth tonight :)

  • @Inexorrian It will do no harm at all to the engine. All of them are factory run-in as we call it,but in any case it will be covered by warranty if he has some problem.

  • @weeminnie You clearly have no fucking clue have you?

  • @lfcjann ask your mum or sister)

  • @Inexorrian It's not his.

  • @Inexorrian He have no heart, he have too much money.

  • @Inexorrian he have money, that's enough :P

  • @Inexorrian warranty!!!

  • @t545o There's only restricted warranty when pushing the cold or brandnew engine.

Nearly all data of the car being saved to the key , so if you have fatal motor failure(within warranty time) BMW will check the Data saved to the key and if u have bad luck they won't rapair anything ;)

  • @adfasses1 Data are been stored in the ECU, the key has some basic memory functions.

  • @adfasses1 i didn't know that. thanks for the information. cheers

  • @t545o idiot

  • just that casual *dong* that tells you the engine is gonna explode, no biggy.

  • 40 Kilometrów przebiegu i nawet nie rozgrzana .. Wstyd, biedny samochód ...

  • grad mal ca. 40km drauf und schon so dappen... kannst dir bald neue turbos holen...

  • thumbs up if you miss the old m5 :(

  • @GadgetOverview E60 is a piece of shit....e39 is real m5 :)

  • damn that engine sounds like a video game uuuuurgh

  • @andshiga It sound like that, because it IS like from a videogame. What you hear is not the actual engine sound, but a synthetic sound from a speaker somewhere under the dashboard. BMW calls this "active sound design", i call it ugly! If they at least had designed a good synthetic sound (like in the newest NFS games), but this is more like Need For Speed 1 from 1996 :D

  • dikakt edin 285 -290 arası adam sellektör yapıyo r açılın amq m5 geliyor :D

  • the youtube chanel say.. "PPPerformance so this car can be a sponsored car :O,, who knows

  • And THAT ladies and gentleman is why you should never ever by a second hand BMW M car! (what an idiot, at least give the car some time to warm up)

  • poor poor car 40km and full gas shame on you

  • turbo where? didnt hear one and wheres the barometer?

  • sounds like a computer game

  • @shampo0oLWD reason being interior cabin noise is digitaly enhanced through speakers.

  • do that shit with an renault and not with an new, cold m5 stupid cocksucker

  • Comment removed

  • who cares about "the drive is an idiot..." most of the youtube warriors are just jeallous

  • your all idiots its a 100 000 plus car, its not from the 80's you can do this, it was made for this stop talking like you know everything about cars when really you know nothing and drive a honda.

  • Rich? Check

    Young? Almost certainly

Talentless? Definitely. Can't even press a switch at the right time

Stupid? Doubt this was a private road!

Dickhead? Devastating combination of all of the above.

  • Learn how to shift with the paddles moron!!! The needle was bouncing off the rev limiter between 1st and 2nd. Next time keep it in DRIVE

  • It's fine. 2012 everyone, not 1980s. These cars are perfectly capable of doing this.

  • @PS2Gameplays yeah dude u definatly dont know what your talking about... I got an M5 and they recommended to break it in and not rev above 4 rpm for the first 2k miles... the car in the video is gonna be kaput

  • @PS2Gameplays Lol. The hell the year has to do with anything? The engine cannot be made with a milimetric precision, all the engine parts that are working, with time chop off the unprecised metal pieces of eachother, forming smooth walls for the friction parts (IF DONE CORRECTLY!) this is the reason first 2000KM should be driven calm and non-aggressive. Upon this depends the future of the engine.
