Thats cool Dave, i think this video is more exciting than the new one you just did.Freezing cold, windy and the first flights, you were, and still are the man !!!
Nice video and the music you picked to go along with it. I like the part when the camera got you on the ground and when you went by the van at the end. Good!
hey them lipo batterys when they go down in power you really know until they just cut out and the servo steal work but the motor loses about 75% of is power in like 20seconds
it happened to me but i was luck i landed it'
do you know how to prevent this like how do you know when it is going to cut out
I wish I could answer that. I just fly mine till my timer beeps on my transmitter and land, before the power is completely out. Lipos will be ruined if they go too low and cant be saved, so there are many safety circuits in radios and even the battery's themselves, but they are all kinda un- predictable.
Thank you kindly. (CP) helis are quite a handful. Fly a good sim 1st like Real Flight or Aerofly Pro Deluxe. Theyre just like the real thing. If you cant fly the Sim, then forget the model unless you have lots of $ for parts, time and patience. Memorize my 9 helicopter tips, and don't deviate from them. It also helps to have some coordination too, because you have to move both sticks in all directions ALL the time! There is never a dead moment!
I am a newbie. Got my christian eagle. It did fly once but then the motor fails to start up. It's a brushless motor with a li-poly battery. Any suggestions?
Make sure the throttle is all the way down, and the throttle trim is all the way down. Since they only come with the speed control, battery and motor, what radio did you use?
Congrats. My Christen Eagle did not come with a radio, only the Motor, speed control, battery and plane. I put in my own. Look at the crystal and if you see a number like 72.960 mhz or something like that, you can google it and you will see what the actual channel number is....like CH.38.
It will help more than you can imagine. If you can consistently fly the sim without crashing, you have a very good fighting chance with the real one. of course, one good crash with the real one, will have you scrambling for glue.
Dave, you are the MAN! I loved this video! I wish I could fly like that! Oh, by the way... 2 flights with my S/L no crashes. I just don't want to get to brave with it! Thank you for your video! Bill

can it hover well?
jwalker590 4 years ago
Not that bad, actually, but I do not have the CG far enough back, which is prevalent on many other 3D airplanes that are designed to hover.

showcaster 4 years ago
Thanks. It is an Aiptek Pocket Cam X. If you Google that, then find where it says Aiptek Pocketcam X Aiptek SHOP.
There you can find them for $20 and $5 for the 512 MB SD card. I now have five of them and all my friends have gotten them too. I love it.
