A nice long episode here! To help stop Dwarves die in prison- you can put a food and drinks stockpile of just one for each in each prison cell. What is also not bad is a bed so they don't get too upset about sleeping on the floor.

As you want more marksdwarves it might be good to start using metal bolts/arrows only for combat as it is a shame to waste it on practice if you have wooden ones, maybe save them for combat later?- you can change this under military and equipment. PS Who is my parent?

@Drbh One of the things I overlooked was the proper care of prisoners. My prison cells are small. I wish I made them bigger, in the next episode you'll notice i have added food and drink stockpiles and they take from the larger stockpiles to make sure they are full. I also plan on adding beds to the mix, should help, but its going to be packed in

@RiotHouseLP Well it's an easy thing to forget about! I have also had many talented dwarves die in Prison before I randomly read about the simple solution...

The prisons may be cramped but you don't need more space for them - the prisoners can only move one square from the rope/chain so everything has to be right next to it anyway.

I must say I've learnt alot from your series and it's always great to see a new one! Thanks!

@JelmerM Yes they are very long. I put everything into a playlist with descriptive titles so people can pick and choose what they want to watch. My fortresses usually go on for months. Glad your enjoying them!

also i usually just dumped there bodys in magma then smelt using the magma forge an armour or weapon and put it in there rooms as a testemant to them or well a tool there proffesion used if i could make it from a magma forge

if i had a dwarf i would request one thin when he died his body is moved to the botem of an unused well so when you go down a level you see a glimpse of his skeleton and then if someone opens it my spirit goes nuts

@MajorMAXX12 We can train them once the dungeon master arrives, however a number of people have told me that after they are trained they die, because they are bugged.  Apparently they are grazers and egg layers, but when they lay eggs they never get off the roost and so they starve to death.....bummer

do certain ranks of prowess get certain coffins e.g:i'm the sheriff and i killed a forgotten beast would i get a special tomb

@MajorMAXX12 Right now i'm giving dwarves of status the larger tomes that are being made. They will have them even before they die because they are required assets to maintain their happiness
