  • Just curious, do you sell this brand?

  • @BlackWomanDeen Not anymore. The company doubled their prices on this brand of cone so I went elsewhere. Their henna powder is pretty good.

  • salam sis, i order for some of your product on the 29/06/2010. but up to now i have not received any items. cld you pls let me know what d problem is.

    fatima

  • @fatimaab The best way to find out about your order is to email me through my website, and please include your order number.

  • its called supreme dulhan

  • oh cuz the mehndi i have is supreme

  • @snddevini Is that what the package says? Or is that how you feel about the product you are using? The henna I use now leaves stains that are black berry in color (natural, no chemicals) and lasts for almost two weeks. I don't use that premixed junk from the store. Professional artists buy henna from me to use on their brides because I have good henna that is natural, safe, and good quality. No dulhan cones from the market.

  • how does it get so dark when i do mi mehndi it lightens the next day

  • @snddevini The pictures were taken 2 days after the design was applied. I no longer use this brand of cone. Pre mixed cones give fast color, but it fades in less than two days. I mix my own henna fresh, and the color is very dark for a week.

  • how does get like that

  • @snddevini Like what?

  • Great,

    Thanx for posting.

  • Love your designs it inspires us to put mehendi too. Also, we loved the songs in the background ,they made us fly to punjab from canada. They really enhanced the video.Anytime you put more videos do put such intresting songs.

    Thanks:)

  • i like the song in the background.can i get the lyrics?

  • I would suggest doing a google search. I do not have the lyrics, the title of the song is posted in the notes to the right of the video.

  • @tabasamgul NI LAADHE MAINU KAALEYE BAAGA DI MEHNDI-2......

    That waz the lyrics..... Cheers..

  • Hi Hun i was wondering how long did dis last on you skin

  • To be honest, I do not remember, it was so long ago.

  • thats okay

  • I luv all of your designs. they are simple and easy to do and they still look pretty

  • this design is absolutely beautiful.

but i don't no how to do the pattern on the fingers

ne chance u could upload the video for that

    it would be seriously helpful

no hurry u can do it as soon as u find the time

  • I am glad you like the design. The video of the design being applied is "Free Hand Mehndi- Video 2 Part 1". I no longer have the file on my computer, so what is shown in part 1 is all that there is. I may redo this video at a later date. This video is over a year old.

  • Hi thanx for the nice videos! i'm half Indian and Hispanic and I just recently got in touch with the Indian side of me and it was mainly because of bollywood and henna lol but I don't know many Indian ppl so I would like to ask you when I apply the mehndi, am i suppose to leave it on overnight? and if so how do i get it to stay on or in tact?? I tried to apply it on myself a few times and sadly it never turned or came anywhere near as dark and lovely as yours did. It was always just lite yellow.

  • I would suggest leaving it on as long as you can. Leaving it on over night is even better. One thing is you want to keep the henna wet as long as possible. You can dab it with water or put lemon and sugar paste on it. Wrap it in toilet paper and then plastic wrap once the design is semi dry. If you have any other questions please feel free to message me.

  • wow deep stain, what kind of rajastani henna do you recommend? and can i use just raj or do i have to mix it with another brand?

  • I use Singh brand. It is great. I did not mix any oils for this stain, but I use clove or cajeput now.

  • I also found this song from the Monsoon Wedding soundtrack. What I like about this song is the lack of instrumental accompaniment, which, instead, makes this song sound really moving and rhythmic, evem though the only things used are drums and vocals.

About the video itself, those color patterns look so astounding! It must be a prize to have those striking patterns on your hands!!

  • I think this song is great, and I love the movie too. Mira is one of my favorite directors.

I got stopped a lot when I had this pattern on my hands. It came out a lot darker than I anticipated.

  • wow the color is so pretty how long does henna last again

  • Thanks, you can get good color from Yemeni and Rajasthani henna. This stain lasted for 3 weeks. Henna can last up to a month or so, but will not be at full dark color, it starts to fade after a couple of days.

  • It will last on the skin anywhere from 1-4 weeks, sometimes longer. It all depends on how often you wash and the type of soap you use. The design will of course fade, it will not stay dark the whole time.

  • Wow! I love the deep red color. It looks beautiful.

  • Thank you. I only used henna paste, no terp or anything.
