  • Comment removed

  • its wierd i love al pacino my favorite actor but when i was like 8 was when i first watched scarface actually thought he was cuban i cant see past tony montana he played him so naturally

  • if i could pick a meeting with 2 people and i could pick between all i swear to god i would pick Pacino and Deniro

  • in this interview he has the same look he had in1983 when he did scarface

  • Al Pacino and Paul Newman.

  • Comment removed

  • @Damazio57

You're right, Damazio57! Michael Mann resembles me of Paul Newman... probably around 1962.

    Good one!

  • WHoa he looks so much younger, a little like when he was filming "Godfather"

  • haha wtf he stood huh?

  • 3:00 Listening to the translation makes Pacino look like a retard

  • Oh god

al is just so charming and gorgeous <3

  • one thing is to know language, but the original is a bit clear under the dub, so y hear at least the beg and end of what they r saying, but the act of translation, waiting and misinterpreting, though its yr 95 or what, is cute 8.) and earlier in the comments he is a rough transl, so its quite ok, but Als face is better 8-)

  • It is true that he admired the film without measure Toni MonTana..

  • Goddamn this French dubbed BULLSHIT!!!

  • Al you big fruit you" :)

  • i disagree with the dubbing thing. foreign films can be enjoyable and accessible this way. also many great films are overdubbed in the same language anyway. It's all re recorded.

  • @daddysevenpointfiver "i disagree with the dubbing thing. foreign films can be enjoyable and accessible this way..."

Fucking nonsense. Half of the art of acting is in the voice - Pacino, as an example, has such unique voice that even if you don't speak English you are able to understand his emotion through the manipulation of his tone, volume and enunciation: to say that you can achieve the same effect by dubbing shows you don't care about acting as an art. I only watch subtitles.

  • Don't title a French video in English.

  • Mon Dieu j'ai rever ou ce guignol de journaliste l'a appeler Robert de Niro ??

  • @SharaMax64 Tu n'as pas rêvé. C'est la plus gosse bourde jamais faite sur Fr2. Et en plus, il ne se reprend pas!

  • SAY 'ALLO TO MA LITTLE FIREND!!! *NOOBTUBED*

The guy is a fucking legend!

  • Les enfants miserable, tu parle patois merde! Just a bunch of stupid immature children in this room treating the French or any other ethnic group and their language with disrespect! I'm an American who speaks, reads and writes five languages fluidly. I'm simultaneously learning my wife's language and two others. Take my advice, learn other languages and cultures! BE A PART OF THIS WORLD, NOT SIMPLY OF IT!

  • @kalimaganeshshivan Ne sois pas triste... Sourire! :D and ignore the stupid immature "children".

Al Pacino.. Je l'aime. Il est tres comique :P

I love all his clueless expressions :P

(Je sais mon francais est tres mauvais..)

  • @ktptjtwtf Merci beacoup mon ami. Al Pacino, Je l'aime. Enchante' Au revoir.

  • You fuck with him ! You fuck with the best !

    NEVER FUCK T.M. !

  • he is the greatest!

  • fucking frogpeople, when will you learn english?

  • @bosnia91 It's a french TV interview, you basic anti-frog anglo-saxon. When will you learn another language?

  • @bennyfromthe72 English is the world language, something you should be knowing in Europe. And it doesn't matter that it is a french interview since even your movies are dubbed over.

  • @bosnia91 Thank you for teaching me life^^ Al Pacino can suck you in his nostril and spit you out by the mouth. Did you know that?

  • @bennyfromthe72 irrelevant bullshit.

  • @bosnia91 know what, i'm not from france!! but fuck you, you learn french or some other language, you ignorant fuck!!! americans...

  • @hainorok Why should we learn french or croatian...whatever? We watch our movies not french movies. If there is a french show (I have never seen one on US TV) they can just CC it in english...

  • @americanegale697 i'm saying, if you come to my country, and you are promoting your movie, you learn my language!! a don't fakin go telling that we should know 'world language'!

  • Al Pacino it's real Tony Montana hes a big boy

  • fuk french america rox ur moms sox off

  • @cannabisdeathmorbs Comment vous appelez-vous?! Parlez-vous francaise?! NON! Parlez-vous anglais?! NON! Tu ne sais pas merde! Stupide embecile'!!!!!! If you want the translation, take your lazy American ass and look it up bitch!

  • i like his voice

  • sacrée interview de merde!

  • a 1 minute 46 il se trompe il l'appelle Robert De Niro au lieu de Al Pacino ! ^^

  • @TheMojo133 HAha oui c'est honteux

  • @TheMojo133 ouai c'est vrai !!

  • Comment removed

  • in this video he is just barely growing out of his "Montana" Haircut LOL

  • he looks like phil spector's little brother

  • i dont speak french but i absolutely love the movie Scarface staring AlPacino aka Mr Badassery aka Tony fucking Montana

  • Most French suck the big wahzoo.

  • Al Pacino is so cute when he says : "bonsoir"

  • Il est dommage qu'il n'a pas eu le droit à une interview par un bon journaliste, car celui-ci est vraiment débile.

    Vie Al Pacino.

  • french people never hide their arrogance lol ..;)

  • damn...I would kill for Pacino...what a guy..damn

  • he dosnt match himself at all as tony montana (in scarface)!!!

  • my dad looks like al pacino in godfather part 3

  • i luv al pacino!!!! :D

  • Happy 70th Mr. Pacino. May the best of your past be the worst of your future.

  • i dont like this is french... poooor AL!!

  • could the dubbing be any worse? Pacino"s own voice should have been allowed!

  • ...mais la bande d'annonce de ce film "it" !

  • DONT BELIEVE IT Al pacinos voice-over guy is the SAME who has done the speeches for Tomas Angelo from the videogame Mafia

  • Interview a la con ce journaliste de mes deux il gache tt ptdr

  • This dubbing shit is ok with animated films ... but come on ... This is raping a good film !!! I remember watching many films dubbed in russian ... It was funny as hell

  • leather jacket as promotional accessory...

  • "Robert de Niro, bonsoir ..." Oh l'abruti ! En plus cette arrogance ... :@ !

  • Pacino is a cool mother fucker.

  • ah! praise be to youtube, where the unemployed can make sport of what other people have actually bothered to create

  • craze attack at 6:14

  • why didn't they do the interview in english?

I guarantee all of the French journalists speak it.

  • 0:16 lol he looks like hes saying in his mind what the fuck you saying man

  • he's welcome him as robert de niro ... embaressed !!

  • @Brauner510 yes a real asshole...

  • dubbing is the worst thing you can do to a movie

  • @rub3nski i agree 10000% dubbing is worst thing ever , it gets lifeless , mood of actor disapears expresions etc.. the actors do a lot of work to make voice awesome, for example imagine Dark Knight movie with Joker dubbed. or Image Chris Farley or Jack Black dubbed... Jim Carrey Dubbed.

  • @rub3nski

Not everyone speaks english, you imperialistic american moron. Burn in hell with your nationalism.

  • @Romansteel13 Imperialistic nationalism is indeed a shitty hobby. You however need to take that acid-soaked, jagged metal spear out of your ass, it's obviously causing you some pain.

  • @rub3nski couldn't agree more

  • @rub3nski Damn right, pal

  • i really hate it when people say one is way better than the other.....they'er both equally great in their own ways

its all personal preference, i personally like de niro better....for me to say de niro is "way better" or vice-vera is absolute nonsense

  • YOU, THE RACIST TO THE FRENCH: GO YOU get screwed!

you are not better than us, and we were not better than you, so fuck your mothers dirty bastards that you are I hate these racist

  • Al?YOU ARE THE BEST ! ! ! !

  • what a f*&^ . no more sound translations... you are stuck with that... the actors my friend.. and their natural voices... make a movie.... stupid french, dutch, and so on...

  • english....

  • everybody loves al & robert de niro who don't know theses guys ?? who ??, everyone knows them ! paris to la to africa to india to japan anywhere !!!!

    RESPECT FOR THESES GUYS !!

  • Amen!

  • theres a reason people invented subtitles: so you can translate without drowning out the speaker.

  • Now that's a little to young but over 60 would be my number

  • he's wearing the Tony Montana hair cut.

  • hahaha two thumbs up. I could even imagine al pacino saying that!!!

  • The only person Al can make cum ,is a star struck cunt like you ,his face is catching up with his BALLS

  • I made your mother cum 6 times ,I guess I have him beat !

  • Get better comebacks

  • What would you like , try and curse out 1000 comments a day see how you do !

  • Your mother wears army boots , has that HA HA HA say hello to Oxy clean for me , I miss her !

  • That's better, actually

    More original anyway

  • So happy your happy , and I bet you didn't expect that from me?

  • @ Madjetdeux

    zzzz zz zz z zzz zz z z z z zzz

  • but it is also thing that happent in time.

Thk you, there is also another movie with you it's Richard 3 that will comingsoon and that you realised.

AP: That right but the title is "Looking for Richard". It's a documentary about American actors who try to make a Shakespear piece.

  • This movie is giving a violentface of America, turned outside. Is on USA the reality who looklikes fiction or the inverse ?

The question is does the try to copy Cinema ?

AP: Well Michael, won't maby from my advise. This film is inspirated from old movies like "Asphalt Jango" It's not untypical from L.A. but

  • And the dual scene in the coffee has been specially appriciated, it looklikes that when we speak together.

AP: Yeah, i heard, it's amazing.

So AL, i saw your filmography, your first was on 68 but you made less than 30 movies, are you selective about that ?

AP: I was more when i was younger, carrefull but less now with guys like M.Mann

  • AP: You know we try to be alway at our best, this actor is wonderfull. But the simple way is to play another job with same power.

Just to learn you something, during negociations between Serbian & Bosniacs in Daytona, there was a time out day and they asked to the 2 parts what do they want to do. The answer was to see the movie Heat with Al Pacino.

  • mm: That's right

Was it difficult to build and organize the Dual between Al Pacino and Robert De Niro ?

MM: I could say yes but thanks to the good desires of everyone, the job was good. You said play "Mouse & Cat" but it was more a challenge with the feeling of the 2 characters.

Al, when you play with a man like De Niro, do you want to play much better? To give all your best ?

  • AP: He is hunting this criminal for many reasons, he as a high aptitude on his work. In fact he plays but very well. And this means the challenge that my character likes.

In French they say "To play to cat & mouse"

AP: Yes but in a way that the feel the smell of each others and are attracted with perversy kind.

Michael Mann, you are the director, you realised also Miami Vice & some Starsky&Hutch episodes.

  • In fact they are 2 pros, you are the policeman and De Niro the Gangster. They are lonely, pro, anguished.

    AP: Silent... OK... Yes, lol...

That the answers that dislike journalists. Not than all, i gonno ask another one similar. Vincent Hanna, your character, is more a hunter than a policeman. He is tracking gangsters.

AP: Yes it's a man driven by his job.

  • AP: That's why i have accepted.

Does two actors want to meet together and to compare because you'll be compared in this film ?

AP The two characters are very similars about the scenary and there are two face on the same coin like the 2 parts of the same person. I don't know if we can compare them on that way but they can about similarity.

  • I'm not a frog eater, nobody listen "accordéon" anymore and France it isn't only Paris, just got it.

Daniel Bilalian, the interviewer isn't one of the bests.

    I resumed questions and answers.

It was the first time that you played with De Niro did you agree this meeting when they proposed it to you ?

AP: Yes, i first completely rode the scenary who was very structured.

  • thick french frogs. learn to understand and speak the language of Pacino.

  • Est comment votre français?

  • Heat Is A Classic !!!

  • c'est bon maintenant, le journaliste était intimidé voilà, je ne comprends pourquoi il y a tant de commentaires très grossiers et insultants sur la France et les Français, F...k this, f..k that...

A croire que les anglophones n'ont que ça à la bouche.

  • hahaha so true, they're too fucking gay

  • the french are so gay

  • what you say that

  • youre gay

  • you can see the shock in pacinos face when he called him de niro

  • at 1min46sec the journalist call al pacino robert deniro

  • Hansome chap!

  • Damn! I was hoping Pacino would do it in Freanch!

  • Every movie-excluding soap operas-should be in it's original language.Use the damn subtitles.

  • you are so right, it's a criminal act to ruin the magic, especially when to brilliant actors like de niro and pacino have a scene together.

  • damn im asian and half latino the movie scarface and i ave it and its fuckin badass!bloody shyt lol!!and about drug and family but the endeding is sad very sad..

  • al pacino = god

  • onetrashdancer, when I recommended you move to a different video I was sort of hoping it was one without Pacino since you seem to obsess about it so much. I had no idea how important that is to you.

  • Ally boy what I tell you about that due , take that fucking Ava Gabor wig off your old head and grow old with CREED

  • What language is That?

I prefer the English is verry easy .

  • its french...

  • It's embarrassing how incredibly IGNORANT my fellow Americans are about languages.

What happened to learning various languages in schools?

I know French, English & some Spanish, Italian & Japanese.

How can anyone graduate from high school & not know something other than their own language???

  • i think it may have something to do with english being a major language in the world of business. many countries know english to trade with our country, perhaps that gives many a sense of there being no need to learn another language. i personally believe that it would be good for everyone to learn another language, if not for cultural barriers being broken, but to exercise the brain.

  • Yeah, I know, In Mexico we speak english and french, yeah the educated fucking people

  • Your music is also shit.

  • No that's the wax in your ear.

Sorry, I can't LOL.... I'm being serious here.

    You are so nosey!

  • Stange choice of word. I didn't ask anyone of anything. And this is a public forum.

  • Stange??? Qu'est que c'est???

    Tu est une sale fille!

  • Yes that is what I said. Speaking another language to "save face" may make you feel better, but you know it just makes you look stupid.

  • D'accord...

    Ass-hole! How's that?

  • little baby calls me a name after I made him look stupid? lol, I guess I'll go cry now ^_^

Now bye bye, you have made yourself look like a clown, I won't read any crybaby reply of yours :)

  • C'mon dic-wad, get off the bullshit now.

YOU were the puss-ass researching me and my music... you sound like a weak-minded stalker who is just as intelligent as the shit you crapped last week.

    Last words....

    FUCK YOU!

  • hahahah he said "robert de niro bon soir" french douche!!

  • perfect haircut Mr Pacino :-)

  • Very funny how the interpretation gets screwed up with a womans voice having to translate the "criminal; hunter" reference. no easy, but Pacino doesn't fold.. He keeps smiling. Hahaha

  • damn his leather jacket looks nice

  • the movie is called "it" now )))

  • Why don't Pacino and De Nero do a gangster movie together? Hope Scorsese directs it. Both of them should be gangsters. It should be as good as Casino, Goodfellas and Scarface.

  • You know there's this film, you might have heard of it, called The Godfather Part 2.....

  • Yeah but they never met each other in the storyline.Unless I'm wrong I haven't seen that movie for a long time.

  • perchè non si fa venire al in un tv show italiano ? cazzo!

  • al pachino born in 1942 not 1940 ... like my dad .. lol

  • Al Pacino speaking French? No, doesn't sound very good even though usually I love hearing the French language. How about watching him in "The Insider" a great film in English.

  • alpacino 65 years and still sexy

  • definitely still sexy, i agree!i love his dark hair and sexy deep voice! he's a wondeful actor.i'd give everything i have to be able to meet him!!!!

  • I met him and he's VERY nice!

  • have you met him?!?!?!? so nice!!

  • Al was born in 1940, Heat was on theater in 1995.

    where did you get 65?

  • aha ...?

sorry my friend.. I thought it was in 2008

    lol

  • I agree dubbin sucks, and i'm french...

When i go to the cinema i only watch french movies for that reason.

  • I find dubbing unfortunate, i so much prefer the subtitles! i loooooooove Al Pacino's voice and i would be gutted to watch a film with someone lending his voice instead of Pacino !!! Subtitles all the way for me!

  • There are BOTH GREAT Actors of our TIME! Thank you Michael Mann for that film! Classic!

  • Alpacino your are best Film Fucker

  • He looks more Tony Montana than Michael Corleone in this interview

  • they're both great actors with different strengths, but in my opinion de niro is the greatest living actor. I'd rate hackman, streep and hoffman before pacino. I don't understand pacino's yelling all the time, why is he always yelling?

  • Pacino is way better than deniro.

  • i wouldn't say 'way' better... but better

  • @shaileshsharma2003 i agree and he finally kills deniro

  • agreed
