Very, very under-rated drummer. In my opinion, another player like Steve Smith, he's not really able to show his true ability playing in Styx. This guy can bust out with the best of them.

Does anyone know what kind of HHX crash he's using above his ride? I'm guessing it's an 18'' HHX-X-plosion crash, but I'm not sure. There's nothing on his gear page on his website about the HHX crash. I'm currently looking for a crash myself, either an AAX or HHX-plosion, and I very much like the sound of the cymbal in this video

To what I believe, he uses a pearl masters kit when he does clinic, and in this case MD. On his tours with Styx he uses the infamous Bubinga Masterworks kit.

Thought that might answer some question for some people below.

Dude I love this guys playing. I mean, the way the beat flows is too broken up (odd time, I know), but his musical composition behind that kit is beautiful. Angels sing when he plays on them cymbals.
