Is there a way to set char order respectively for each char in the roster? I mean if i play with ryu, reach X stage i'd wish to make him face akuma; or at the same time if i play with ken, reach X stage i'd wish to make him face Ryu. Is it possible? That would be hella cool.

exact same way my friend. Just make sure your ordering any characters not in use for the arcade to order=0.

seei did exactly what you said but everytime i styart my mugen an error message pops up and says :

however this character+stage is basic . what did i do wrong?

In mugen parameters have spacing after the commas so your line should be written like this

kfm, random, order=1

otherwise it won't recognize the line of code. This should 99.99% fix your problem. Have Fun!

read the 1st comment now what i did for orchid on order=3 i am doing for order=1 and reverted the other 3 killer instinct chars to stock just with their name no order # or nothing just the char name leaving orchid the only one in the whole mugen game with order=1 to prevent mistakes ok so i proceeded to put 1 under the order=1 slot since orchid is the only char under order=1 i saved played mugen arcade and it picked other random chars instead of orchid being first.

i ran out of char counts. read the 1st comment 1st ok now i understood this completly

for 4,3,1 you will fight up to 4 randomly-picked ;characters who have order=1, followed by 3 with order=2 and 1 with ;order=3. so i tried

ORCHID, stages/Orchid.def, order=3

and put 0 on the 1st order slot and put 1 on the 3rd order slot saved played mugen arcade and the first that popped up was ORCHID and backed out the vs screen and started the vs screen again several times to make sure she was the first

Hey i have trouble putting my chars in order. here's what i did, i grabbed 4 killer instinct chars and put them under order=1 like this.

ORCHID, stages/Orchid.def, order=1

cinder beta, stages/Fusible_Sky.def, order=1

fulgore, stages/Uncharted.def, order=1

EyedolMO, stages/firewater.def, order=1

now i went down to the options on select.def and deleted the 1st 0, under order=1 because i listed 4 chars under order=1 right ok so i imput 4 under 1st group. i saved played mugen arcade but no order

i have prob, every so often t comes up with an error message that says it cant open up

It seems like there is a problem with continue, that most likely stems from a wrong line. If i'm not mistaken, someone over at Mugen-Infantry explained how to fix this.
