That's exaclly what my mum does with me in Eid !! It's soo silly that I have to dress up and go everywhere with my mumy to our relatives house and keep smiling and pretending to be happy .To be honest My family's idea about the Eid is the same as the Christain Christmas cuz we do the same thing as the Christain peoples do like Christmas father or Santa that he left some gifts for me and my little sister but still when i came to tallk about the Christams with my parents for some logically reason
