  • do I understand this concept wrong, OR: how many times does the door have to be opened & shut to store enough power to once automatically cycle? 1:1 is impossible - no? 2:1 would be great?

  • @theorganguy on the manual openings you could get 1:1 or better by disengaging the cylinder from the storage vessel when in automatic mode. It doesn't take very much force to actually move a door, so if you disengage the cylinder that stores the pressure on automatic openings you would barely use any air pressure, since the resistance is gone.

  • This device gives to user the possibility - to be happy when use "Green energy automatic door. But, there are no happy of Green World without/or with damaged fingers....I like this door, but I think to use this door at home is dangerous for children and elderly, because there are a lot of possibilities to get impact or to pinch a finder or something else ;)

  • If the problem would be in stickers easy to solve! But the mission of any door is - to open/close doorway and dont injury pedestrians bodies in the same time. All regular automatic doors have different safety features plus connection to safety sensors and photobarriers for protection. If this door is not electric - then it is hard to conform this operator with safety sensors.

  • Very big structure to become widespread. Nice idea, but not compact, not care about door leaf. Also, somebody can be really bumped by leaf when opening. Not safe.

  • How so? Just stick one of those yellow stickers you see everywhere that says "Automatic CAUTION Door"
