This is exactly the kind of video a beginning bass player shouldn't watch. Rushing straight away to arpegios and scales. Many of the beginners probably don't even know what are the notes and where to find them. Explain more basic stuff. I think this one isn't a bad lesson for a player who has played bass for a year or so (I have) but definitely not for a beginner.
A beginner needs time to experiment with guitars more.
