As a child I remember going to temple, saying and doing certain rituals that weren't considered Catholic, I started attending Jewish reform temple but never really felt "at home." Listening to Ladino music, hearing the Ladino language-especially Morenika (brown skinned girl) is like going home. Thank you for your translation and sentiment about Jews of color.
