as far as people saying it should be a real sport, or Olympic sport, i have to say not quite. Of 2 reasons, 1. sports usually take skill, and so far, i haven't see any skill to iron clothing (doing the activity alone is the sport, ironing is just an addon) 2. i would rather see a new invention of a sport be added, rather then an innovation. If you don't understand what i meant, all these people are doing is adding something to a sport already created. sry for my negative attitude.

Extreme Ironing RULES!!! I gave the book to my mother for XMas a year ago and she can't keep it at home - friends are waiting in line to borrow it! I'm puzzled by why so many people seem to have some irrational need for extreme ironing to make sense. Why not simply enjoy how uniquely challenging it is, and marvel at the widely diverse locations? I think it should become an Olympic event!!
