  • He can really make it sing - not 'cantabile' but full of soul. I may not agree completely with his reality, but I deeply admire his ability to express so eloquently the sadness and hopelessness. This can only happen when one is playing from the heart as much as from the mind. Immensely enjoyable.

  • His playing is good. His phrasing choices occasionally seem a bit interesting, but they still make a fantastic line. And love the cadenza!!
