@sixflagsfan1113 A bit faster, but also a bit smoother, still pretty rough though, but its a pretty fun ride. I personally hate the Wildcat: live in Hershey and hardly ever ride it, but Roar I didn't mind quite as much.

You know that they going to dismantle skull mountain, what do you think they should build in it's place. I'm hoping for a world class coaster, we here who go to this park locally believe it's time. This park is in a very big market and it is the closest park to Washington D.C. They havent built a new coaster since 2001 and the dry area of the park is being neglected. Do you agree?

i love this ride. it is the smoothest woodie ive been on! the best part is the tunnel with the airtime hill in it. you really fell like youre gonna hit the roof

Wait WTF!?!?!?! This is the exact same layout as Roar @ SFDK, but one is built by GCI, and the other is built by CCI? Wtf?

@Codilla342 no, they are both build by GCI a year apart this one in 1998 and the other in 1999. the one in california is the same height but all the hills in the rest of the ride are slightly shorter

@112taco , i have to agree with rollercoasterfan97 that Bat wing and Superman are Extraordinary rides and I would never get sick of riding them, But Mind Eraser is fun sorta the first time but the second time it gets annoying but comparing it to Superman & Bat wing I wouldn't go on it again.

@1112taco IMO superman and batwing are not that scary because there so smooth! Mind eraser gives me and most other people head aches.

@yourinfo0228 Their the same type of wooden coaster and they are made by the same company, so they use similar type of track, like those big banked turns. But the track layout is really different

I haven't been on the Roar clones yet; but I'm curious about the older GCI woodies... Is there a difference in ride quality from the one that has PTC's and the one with Millennium Flyer trains? Also, how well do the parks take care of them, is it about the same? Btw: Great Coasters International rules!!! :D
