  • All you naysayers answer this...

They can't run medicaid, medicare, social security, even the post office properly, so how in the HELL do you expect them to run a program to cover all the uninsured in America properly???

You are blind and stupid if you want this to pass through.

I am UNINSURED and pay out of pocket for all my medical needs. I have a severe illness so those bills are not cheap. BUT I have choices and I want to keep them. KEEP THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF MY MEDICAL DECISIONS.

  • as.a.wyoming.person... barrasso.doesn't.speak.for.me

  • They should get Ron Paul on here too.

  • Although he's in the house.

  • ViSIT NAKED EMPEROR NEWS TO HEAR THE REAL OBAMA.

    SINGLE PAYER.

    NO PRIVATE INSRUANCE.

  • Interesting video by these 2 senators.

Perhaps, in the interest of full disclosure, regardless of their political views on health care reform, they should have revealed the amount of campaign contributions from the health care industry they have taken since being elected to office.

Senator Coburn (R) OK- $8,262,059 collected from the health care lobbies

Senator Barrasso (R) WY- $3,182,805 collected from the health care lobbies.

$12 million in pay for play. Our Congress at work.

  • I wish every member of Congress had to reveal, in the interest of full disclosure, how much the person had received from the Health Care Industry, before they spoke on the floor about health care issues.

  • sun, campaign contributions aren't pay for play and are legitimate, unless you have Coburn on tape saying to someone he will support Obamacare unless they give him that donation ala Democrat Rod Blagojevich. It's kind of pointless also pointing out their donations from health care since they are health care, being MD's themselves. As rightwingers, they would be against more govt health care anyway, you'd have to show they changed their views after getting those contributions to have any case.

  • ummm...they don't.doctor.anymore...barrasso went out.being.sued.a.bunch

  • thanks genius, I thought they operated from the Senate floor.

  • Sorry... You would be surprised at how many people think he is still practicing... Anyway, most doctors disagree with these guys check out PNHP... Most conservative doctors in Wyoming also disagrees with these people. At my personal clinic every doctor there wants single payer, and most of the doctors I have talked to in neighboring places... Once Barrasso starts having real talks instead of scares I will let up. (You know cost, and such.) Rationing? That is what we do NOW, he needs to be honest

  • Dems are desperate to have total control over the peoples lives from start to end, making them our gods. Power is what they crave while they give scraps to the little people they're much better than. Vote those basteards out!

  • Right now my wife and I pay over ten thousand dollars a year. We have a rationed private health plan with most of our premiums going into profits for the insurance company. If we lost our job, we lose our health care insurance. Can this doctors explain the thousands of pages in our policy that protects profits and rations care? Apparently not. What a waste of my time. Thanks for nothing Dr.

  • Sounds like you would like to have a choice in what insurance provider you have as well as not to rely on your employer for coverage.

These are part of the solutions from these senators: Open up interstate commerce for insurance companies to get real competition in the market place and allow people to keep the same coverage when they move from job to job.

Current DNC proposals lock you into your current coverage, and once you are dropped you have to go with the public plan

  • Along with some form of tort reform would fix the healthcare system in this country. I dont blame a doctor paying up to 200k in malpractice insurance to reduce the inflated prices for his services

  • So being locked into my current coverage with no private or public option if I'm dropped is some how more better? That's how it is for me and millions of Americans right now.

This doctors may be sincere in believing the free market will provide for all, but the reality is it can't. If it could, it would be doing so and we wouldn't be having this debate.

  • You don't get it, we are not in a free market system right now, so you cannot make that argument that the free market doesnt work.

  • Claiming "you don't get it" isn't an argument. If you know of a free market system that will work, let's hear it. If not, don't insult my intelligence.

  • "So being locked into my current coverage with no private or public option if I'm dropped is some how more better? "

There are 1300 health insurance companies in America. ObamaCare will force you into one; the Government's.

Currently, there is no free market for health insurance. That's the problem. If ObamaCare passes, your new government plan will provide the same low level of care Medicare and Medicaid provides. Ask anybody what they think of those two government plans.

  • TheRamenAvenger <- The American People (Democrats, Republicans, and Independents) oppose socialized medicine.

  • The GOP is a fucking joke.

  • Excellent video.

Only Obama and his fringe followers at the DNC support socialized medicine.

The American people (Democrats, Republicans, and Independents) are angry about the government trying to force socialized medicine on us.

  • Independents and Democrats should listen to the doctors.

  • Good stuff keep it up
