I love your "sat nav" at 2.52.Great car I wish I had one.I remember when I was a little boy being disappointed that there were no semaphore indicators any more.
Until recently i had a 1933 12/6 Harley and a 193516/6 Hertford This video really brings home how much i miss driving them Truly fantastic old girls Thank you for posting here
@thomasking55 Im not an expert but the car you were in looks like a 1935ish !6/6 or 18/6 poss a hertford or windsor saloon (there were many such models then body mostly the same) The heavy 12 was an older car i believe up to about 1931 and was a four cylinder car

I am 19 years old, can I drive one of these nice, motoring history cars?
Very nice indeed, I like the high engine revs as well.

@Gabriel23771 The whine you hear is the transmission. Engine revs rarely approached 2000 rpm in these engines.

@thomasking55 I believe it wascaled the Austin Big Six,and was used a lot as a taxi cab usually in country areas.
My dad used to have a 1934 Austin 7 van which I ,as a 6 year old used to drive sitting on his knee, well steering it really for miles.

The ride begins at 1:58 and you can hear what it is to go 'motoring' in one of these.
