XD. I dont know why, but everytime when i watch this video. at: 0:20. Did Baghdatis say ''yeah'' lol. Idk i just laugh when i hear that, its like Oh you got me sort of thing. haha
he so deserved calendar GS in 2006. and 2007. those are two of his top years. i think in 2006. he had like 2 or 3 defeats in whole season and played in every major tournament, most of them winning without dropping a set... i was so glad when he finally claimed that elusive roland garros title.
@Jasminbaum well, its not like i didnt knew that, but not my point really. he was extra dominant in those two yeras, thats all i wanted to say. plus, i wrote majors not gs...
@Staunomat@Staunomat u sound like a pusti malaka lol. germany would've burned your kind in the 1940s. and rightly so. whether ur a faggot or gypsy or or jew or greek or (most likely) all of the above lol. be happy ur living in a weakened germany, scum.
this is exactly why Federer rules in Grand Slams... he's not as dominant in best of 3 set matches but when it comes to best of 5 sets no one rivals Federer (except Nadal on clay).
his shots are effortless, his techniques are tactically perfect, so he wastes no energy beating his opponents. when it comes to the end of a long two-week tournament, Federer is always among the freshest of players.
Baghdatis did well in the first two sets, but his gas ran out too quickly for him.
I personally think Nadal can rival Federer in best of 5 sets on all surfaces. I did say rival, but I don't think Nadal should have a chance when it comes to hardcourt. Which reminds me, I'm not sure how Nadal got the best of Federer in the 09 AO. Gotta watch it to believe it. Nadal playing like a beast as far as pulling off WTF-shots. It's awesome to watch lol.
I don't think there's a person in the world that can consistently beat Federer. I may sound like a complete Fed-worshipper, but you've gotta agree that there's no straight-up weakness in Federer's game. To beat him, you really need to out-play him. Nadal and Safin, I think were the first two to expose weaknesses in Federer's game: the high topspin to the backhand, and a penetrating flat shot through Federer's backhand (which he has trouble controlling at times - AO 2005 semis).
@foul01 that's exactly what I was thinking though I am more of a Nadal fan. but he proved all of us wrong this year. he changed his game in many aspects and won the french, wimbly and the US without even having to tape his knees. who would have thought of that?
and you are right up to that point ao 2009 was the best hardcourt nadal and when you look at the highlights you can see how brutally this match was for his knees (the semis as well).
well, he improved his serve, got some cheap points off from it, that helps in preserving his knees
not to mention skipping barcelona, something i thought he should have done years ago
and his opponents didnt put up much of a challenge in US 2010, federer was in a slump, murray injured, and djokovic is probably the least mentally and physically tough of the top 4
i'd still say AO 09 is the best hardcourt nadal
but US 2010 nadal is a whole lot smarter and efficient
It's known as a muscle pull. It comes at you at any point during strenuous exercise. Very few people suffer it though, one of them been tipseravic and more recently Nadal on his stomach.

Marcos Baghdatis is superb talented man, good vision, backhand. But where is he now ?
hungsiuming 2 years ago
@hungsiuming Baghdatis has ups and downs in his game just like Nalbandian and Safin, when they are on, they are unbeatable nut they are usually off.

AO 2009 is the best hardcourt Nadal i've ever seen, he usually gets creamed before the final (i.e. Tsonga, Ferrer, Murray, Del Potro)
but at what price? he busted his knees and he couldnt even defend wimbledon
nadal can beat federer on a consistent basis, but everytime he does, he destroys a little bit of himself as well
