Just taking the PvE in all campaigns and EotN, there's a helluva lot to do. And if you're just not into PvE you can practically LIVE in the PvP arenas... you can buy your PvP gear, skills and heroes without ever going to PvE :P

Yes it does. It also costs ALOT of money, like 39.99 per extension pack (4 ex packs available). The price pays off, you chat with people all over the world, from iraq to usa to asia to netherlands. You also create alot of different characters. Its uber fun, its called Guild Wars and the possible extentions are prophicies, factions, nightfall, and EOTN or GWEN (Eye of the north or Guild Wars Eye of the North)

Well, some people sell GW for like 20 dollars if they get bored. And theres 4 extention packs, 40 dollars (dunno difference between euro and dolllars sorry.) so you could get some friends who have gw, but ive been playing for 2 years and never got bored. Also, some people sell their accounts IN GW! Its illegal, but they make easy money by selling their friends accounts for 100k - 700k depending on their characters and unlocked areas. I'd reccommend buying legally though XD

Yes about 40 dollars for each "game" (Guild Wars Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, then the expansion GW Eye of the North thats like 20 bucks) or you can buy Guild Wars Trilogy for like 50-60$ that is all 3 main core games (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall) in one package, idk if it comes with Eye of the North though, but it does come with the GotY Edition update :). Trust me its really worth it, you just buy the game, intall it, and no more paying, in the long run it saves you ALOT of $ + it rox.
