My guess is he will be saved by some demon magic mcguffin that [the real] Dante must get by backtracking the previous levels in the game.

Personally, the game looks great and it will be a blast to play. But comparing this game to where DMC started, this is nothing even close to the same. I will enjoy playing this game when I get it, but it will never feel like a DMC game to me.

Tbh, when I saw the very first trailer for this I thought that Dante did look just a little too depressing, but in this gameplay he does look a lot more like the Dante we all know, apart from the hair but NT did say that they explain why his hair is black in the game, so hopefully that means that something will happen in the game that changes it to silver.

There was no reason to reboot the game, why not start the story after the events in DMC 2 which is actually the last part of the story so far, imagine what they could have done instead and made Dante even more legendary. This game is a lie!!

i cant wait, i love the new look of everything personally. Heck, if i could have it my way i would stop production of Halo 4, GoW 4, etc. I rather see a studio do a reboot, make something innovative, or have a new idea and series completely then make the same game with another number added onto it. Long story short, ill be buying it. Solid looking gameplay and a awesome soundtrack so far. that eye thing seems like it'll get tedious, but then again the board game in DMC 4 was just as annoying.

No matter how cool the game looks I still won't get it. I agree with all of you, yes it does look better and yes it has some fun look gameplay.
