That is awesome! This song would fit really well.. I'm actually kinda surprised (in a good way) that they'd pick a DCFC song, because they're not like some well known pop band. I love it when DCFC gets recognised. :)

Well as with all art it is up to the viewers/listeners own interpretation, but for me I see a representation of how we go through life our heart goes through joy and suffering as we find people we love, but it goes up in flames and they lose interest or don't feel the same way. Then we eventually meet the one who repairs our broken heart and sends it fluttering in love, as we spend the rest of our lives with them; before we die and rot into the ground, to become a pretty flower.

To me, this song and the previous one onthe album ("Your Heart is an Empty Room") are the 2 extremes of the one feeling that one feels during heartbreak. From the first verse, this song seems to be more of a lament after the fact and regret of losing the one you love rather than just feeling sadness, but as the song progresses it becomes more desperate to tell oneself and to make absolutely sure that it is the right thing, despite the fact that both sides will feel the keen sting of heartbreak.

On the other hand, Your Heart is an Empty Room is conveying more of a self-empowering, it's-for-the-best feel. In that song, they are trying to convince oneself that it is the right thing to do, and is best for everyone, that they are not the one. As the song progresses, it appears that one has made up their mind about what has to happen, but they reach a point where they have a self-reflection and reexamine what it is that they have decided and the finality of, but decides to weather the storm.

Well the way I see it, instead of having 'one true love', we actually have many possible soul mates or true loves that we could fall properly in love with and spend our lives happily with. I think there's hundreds of possible soul mates in our country, but we only meet a few in our lifetime. I think there's always a chance you'll meet another, but as always, if you want to improve your chances, you'll have to spread your wings and meet more and more people. ^^

It's not a coincidence that Romeo and Juliet are teenagers- it's an a time of life where everything feels more dramatic, more beginning and end. I've been in love a few times & only once was it anything beyond belief. He was my drug. The other guys, I loved them, I got over them. Because raging teen hormones really do feel like that.. proper love isn't that feeling, it's what comes after that. It's what comes after all the excitement and promises of eternal passions and so forth. It's a sort of bonding you have after you feel that way with somebody, and grow out of it.. together.

I have no doubt that it's possible -- I'm 17 too. I never actually said teens can't love, I just said teenage hormones make it easy to feel as if you're in love and of course you can still feel that way when older too.. but love is what comes after that excitement and breathlessness which teens so often get (and call love). Some people have what are referred to as Old Soul's though, whom are often more mature for their age and may be aware of this trickery of the brain.

it took me a while to find this video. i couldnt remember the song. i had seen it a few years back and it helped me have a good cry and be able to move on every so SLOWLY. lol. TO ALL THE HURT HEARTS OUT THERE: i fell in love, he broke my heart, i didnt think i could ever move on. but i did. still after 5 years, i love him, but i have moved on. when i see him my heart still feels like a lightning bolt struck it, but i have moved on, and the pain isnt as horrible as it use to be.
