i have a long way to go, but with help from your video, i WILL learn this solo!!! this is my favorite solo of all time! thanx for posting, and amazing job 2 by the way
@Effexor35 Thanks for the comment! And yes, I use the pinky to mute the high E, at this point it has become second nature. I also try to mute with the palm of my right hand and fingers on my left. It really helps keep thing clean. Best of luck with your music, and thanks again!
The Guitar Leprechaun...... There's always MAGIC in your playing and the rainbow that leads to the pot of gold ends in your lap wherever and whenever you are playing your guitars. That LP surpasses your Gold standard. Just Superb!!!!
@ZenDriveSeven I CAN help get you there...... But it will cost you. LOL And recently I sent you a link for an Epi Elitist reissue '61 SG in MINT condition for $600. Ha, now look at you lusting for one! That would be one hell of a video. Along the lines of what jun626 does. We will have to get you a forklift upgrade though. A video with you doing bothe part would be EARGASMIC! Can't Wail!!!!
man that thing sounds great!! Is it the same as mine with the circuit board in the electronics? for some reason yours sounds a whole lot better than mine.... must be the person playing it LOL oh and awesome job on the solo!!!
@spider5001 Thanks Spidey. Yes, it's the Standard with the PCB. Not a big fan of the PCB or locking input jack, but I love everything else. Also, it's much easier to dial in tones using the Line6 guitarport. I'm sure yours sounds sweet too. What color is yours?
@ZenDriveSeven LOL ya that locking jack is a pain hahaha! I actually have a UX2 and POD farm but my brain shorts out when i try to use it =/ Mine is Ebony. There is a vid on my channel of me playing soundgarden with it.... not sure if you would like that group but you could see the guitar. I went and got one of those SG classics after i seen that vid you had of one and now the LP is gettin dusty lol =) I love the SG
Great job on this one (as usual)! Still waiting on that REO Speedwagon you promised me. Maybe if enough people like this comment you'll do the solo from Roll With The Changes. Its a GREAT solo and I would love to see you do it. Just my 2 cents.
ZDS, I never get tired of your GREAT work, not just your sound, but you style is poetry in motion, smooth, clean and uncomplicated. After having done a few of your lessons on VB I have come away more inspired then I ever was. I was sad when you lost everything, but I look forward to these tasties you put out. THANKS!!!
wow Tom, the precision of your playing is phenomenal! This is how a cover should be done, no sliding into notes, every bend is exactly on the note it's supposed to be. Your playing is an inspiration. Great job!!!
Great job, Im working on this one myself. Have you considered playing this thru a Rockman?

At times you have the pinky on the picking hand up against or under the high E. Is that to mute it?
I hope someday to play half as good as you, superb job man.

This is a nice job of covering the solo in this song! It isn't perfect, but I think you really capture the main parts and play them well.
