Very literal translation, reminds me of my Latin class. My French isn't good enough to understand wholly the song but a some mistakes I see are: "D'une mere qui ne l'aimait pas" you translated the imperfect with present tense. "A ce qui lui est ecrit" I think should be "is written to her" not was. Ciel is probably heaven instead of sky. I'm not sure but "a mal" may be an idiom meaning to be sick. I'm not sure what to do with "A" in "A tomber les etoiles"
