  • THANKS!!!! my test is tomorrow and now im ready!..ahhaaha

  • I'm a foreign medical graduate (5th pathway) and I will be using your methods. Thanks!

  • Thanx for the video! I'm a MIS student and will also be studying ECG. So, thanx again ! BtW,what is the soundtrack on this video !

  • Quick question. In your example with the pen, you calculate the HR as 130 but right on the cardiogram it says pulse is 106..... am I missing something?

  • i liked this video so much! keep them coming!

  • Thank you soooo much! I am an NP student, would have been lost whithout you! Thank you!!!!!!!!1

  • what is a standar(t) pen?

  • Me likey 2nd song!

  • whats the song played at very starting????

  • NICE VID... thx

  • OK now that super easy to understand! Thanks for the breakdown.

  • lol, I like how in the last example it very clearly says the heart rate is 81 in the bottom right

    77 ≠ 81 right?

  • @AmidMenInSuits This is the heart-rate between the RR interval selected, not the average/actual heart-rate of the individual. The fact that it's close to 81 is proof of accuracy of the method.

  • @tomdog06 ahh, brain malfunction on my part

  • Thank you so much! So helpful!

  • loved this! thank u!

  • excellent use of the powerpoint!! This is easy to remember and use, thanks for your hard work on this!!

  • great video, put together well. I wish I had tutorials like this going through school

  • cool techniques....

  • I am an ER physician and have never seen nor heard of the pen method. I will be putting that to good use. Nice video. Kudos for accuracy.

  • @Amanda9993 Thank you for your estimation. I would recommend to use a BIC pen with a cap on it's back, so it will be ~15 cm (what we actually need for being accurate).

    P.S. It's not a BIC commercial.

  • Hello I'm a nursing student and we were taught to count P waves? Is that wrong? or is that only for sinus rhythms? Any input would be extremely helpful!!! Kinda having a hard time with ECG strips.

  • @FreefallingRee This is not wrong. The question is, if this wave is P or something else. For example, in atrial fibrillation there are f waves, (it is not P), in atrial flutter you have to count F waves (it looks like P ways sometimes). Anyway, the recognition of what you see on ECG (P/Q/R/S/T/U, or F,f waves are not an easy task in some situations.

  • reaaally reallly good, please create more videos if you have the time to do this!

  • This is so good!
