I met my kids mother in 1994. A couple of years later a one time converstion came up. She told me she was riding the city bus in 93" and friend girl got on with a guy. The friend girl came to the back to say hi while the guy stayed upfront. She commented to friend girl the guy seemes odd she's with, but friend girl said he was alright. The guy turned out to be Henry Wallace and friend girl one of the victims.

She stayed in a unsavory rental property at the time. He spooked her greatly and she said he was gonna get his one day. Sure enough he tried to rob someone( not a drug dealer) in a hotel and was shot to death. The shooter was not charged and there was a relief in her neighbirhood.

I'm from and still live in Charlotte, NC and remember when this was going down. Supposedly HW was approached for rights of his story for a book deal. Fortunately, a mother of one of the victims successfully campaigned against this from happening. It was rumored that HW wanted to expose his relationship with the victims. This would have made known very unflattering and unknown activities of his victims as he put it.

Henry Wallace killed her in the bathtub and started to strangled the infant but changed his mind and left the child to live. This was in his confession. The boyfriend came home from work to find the baby screaming and girlfriend dead.

Few hours later, the police picked up HW on an ostensibe charge of shoplifting at a mall department store, now closed. The detectives then told him about the recent murders. It was then that he confessed to killing ten women between 1992 and 1994.
He's been on death row for 12 years. That's too long.
I found some information on my friend Kimberly Boyd who was killed brutally at 15 years old. The man that was the ring leader in her murder was given a pardon, as well as all of the death row inmates and thir sentences were reduced from Death to Life in Prison. I'm very upset by this becuase Demetrius Henderson took my friend's life as she begged him not to; after gang raping her and stabbing her over 40 times.

Police incompetence led to the murder of two young girls here in Canada as well. When Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka killed two young girls two different police forces already had Bernardo's DNA on file over suspicions that he was involved in a series of rapes, they just hadn't bothered to test it yet. Lack of funding was their only excuse. I want to be able to tell my kids that if they're ever in trouble they can go to the police but I can't see how this isn't blatantly lying to them.

What haunts me the most about this man is the fact that I was face to face with him on several occasions and never suspected what he did. I first met him at the Taco Bell on Sharon Amity near Central and then he went to work for Bojangles that was on Central Ave.
Guess it comes to show you that you never really know someone or what they're thinking.

Her name was Stacey H***** after things calmed down on SHAY SHAY investigation Henry just vanished like almost a year later. Henry Wallace is a BIG LIAR his mother DID NOT ABUSE OR MIS TREAT HIM. They lived in a low income housing apartment complex called Barnwell Arms in a Dupllex that did have running water we lived out there too. His Mother is very spiritual and a wonderful person no one knows what made him click.

I have come in contact w/at least 6 of the 9 women in some way or fashion. Either school, work or I was close with the family{Shawna}..I am to this day still so hurt & angry about this...The anger has turned more into hurt..More than 17 1/2 yrs later..I still cant look at their pictures {especially Shawna's & Caroline's} without wanting to cry...The pain is still as strong as it was when I heard they were taken from us! Although I wasnt close to Caroline, it still hurt to hear it. Love u Shawna

I met my kids mother in 1994. A couple of years later a one time converstion came up. She told me she was riding the city bus in 93" and friend girl got on with a guy. The friend girl came to the back to say hi while the guy stayed upfront. She commented to friend girl the guy seemes odd she's with, but friend girl said he was alright. The guy turned out to be Henry Wallace and friend girl one of the victims.

@kwhudson2 Funny that you mention that. She pointed out a guy who hung around her apartment complex in 1994 who was veeerry shady. Rumored to have robbed a couple drug dealers even. She stayed in a unsavory rental property at the time. He spooked her greatly and she said he was gonna get his one day. Sure enough he tried to rob someone( not a drug dealer) in a hotel and was shot to death. The shooter was not charged and there was a relief in her neighbirhood.

I'm from and still live in Charlotte, NC and remember when this was going down. Supposedly HW was approached for rights of his story for a book deal. Fortunately, a mother of one of the victims successfully campaigned against this from happening. It was rumored that HW wanted to expose his relationship with the victims. This would have made known very unflattering and unknown activities of his victims as he put it.

@angylgyrl One thing he did have mercy during his killing. One of the victims who apartment he was over had a infant child. I think this particuliar young lady worked at Bojangles with him. Henry Wallace killed her in the bathtub and started to strangled the infant but changed his mind and left the child to live. This was in his confession. The boyfriend came home from work to find the baby screaming and girlfriend dead.

She also said my memory regarding Brandi's child was incorrect. Supposedly he thought he had successfully strangled the baby with a towel. Unknown to him, the baby survived.

Actually lethal injection isn't painless. Even though your motionless, most experts claim you can feel what's going on. You feel your veins burn like their on fire. You slowly suffocate before the cardiac arrest starts. So hopefully if they are right, this monster will pay for his crimes.

I was in the complex when he was arrested and had frequent contact with him while working with the Sheriff's Dept. He was extremely smooth in his demeanor but still a killer. Psychopath.

Also, check out Jeffrey Mailhot, a white serial killer. He was very handsome and smooth. One of his victims tried to jump out of a window but couldn't. He had all of his windows made out of plexiglass. His apartment was virtually sealed. Investigators believe that his victims went willingly with him to his first-floor apartment. Once inside the apartment all they were strangled and dismembered. He put the body parts in plastic garbage bags and threw them into "various commercial dumpsters

It's been 15 years ago that HLW confessed to murdering 10+ women in Charlotte between 1992 and 1994. They were young and attractive. Many families are still mourning their loved ones deaths and that will never go away.

Angylgyrl: U aren't the only one that feels that way...Gregory Clepper was charged with the deaths of 14 women from 1991 to 1996 and is awaiting trial. Hubert Geralds Jr. was convicted of killing six women in Englewood and sentenced to death in January 1998. They all took advantage of these women in impoverished neighborhoods in Chicago.

Thanks, Kwhudson. As the police intenisfied the manhunt for a serial killer on the weekend of March 12, 1994, Debra was found murdered at her apartment. Few hours later, the police picked up HW on an ostensibe charge of shoplifting at a mall department store, now closed. The detectives then told him about the recent murders. It was then that he confessed to killing ten women between 1992 and 1994.
He's been on death row for 12 years. That's too long.

I found some information on my friend Kimberly Boyd who was killed brutally at 15 years old. The man that was the ring leader in her murder was given a pardon, as well as all of the death row inmates and thir sentences were reduced from Death to Life in Prison. I'm very upset by this becuase Demetrius Henderson took my friend's life as she begged him not to; after gang raping her and stabbing her over 40 times.

i rekon it was such a disgracefull effort by the cops that it wasnt widely publicised. i did not hear about this in oz. heartbreaking that the children of these victims dont have their mothers all because a bunch of lazy cops cldnt get of their fat asses and do what we pay them to do. worse still it appears they are not willing to admit it, shithouse.

This one is for the memory of Miss Valencia Michele Jumper whose life was taken away by evil and cowardice. He had a nerve to come to her funeral similar to that of princess Shawna Hawk. These and many other women didn't deserve this at all had the police did their job much sooner. Those women would have been alive.
Rest in peace, Valencia.

I know. He had some nerve to attend the young womens' funeral after killing them mercilessly. Had law enforcement did their job, these women would have been alive. Had the police in Charlotte checked HW background as a criminal when he filed a missing person report on Caroline Love, third victim, he would have been arrested. What went wrong is that Barnwell police had that creep as a suspect in teen girl's death in 1990. They bungled the case.

Police incompetence led to the murder of two young girls here in Canada as well. When Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka killed two young girls two different police forces already had Bernardo's DNA on file over suspicions that he was involved in a series of rapes, they just hadn't bothered to test it yet. Lack of funding was their only excuse. I want to be able to tell my kids that if they're ever in trouble they can go to the police but I can't see how this isn't blatantly lying to them.

Carloine Love is my cousin --- i was only 10 when she was murdered. I remember when Henry was caught --- at his trial my big cousin (Caroline's brother James) attacked Henry but my cousin james got the worst of the beating.
I wish James would've killed that motherfucker in the courtroom.

yeah thats a good idea...i will when i am able to scan in some pics i have of her, she was 13 yrs older than me, but i have so many memories of her. My life has been changed because of her death, i always have been told i look like her being the next girl in the family, she was 20 and trying to achieve her education, and i graduated from college at the age of 20, i remember her in a lot of things I do, and hope to grow closer to God, because tomorrow is not promised!

kimeshawn I have changed because of this also. My cousin Betty was killed by Wallace . It had made me bitter, angry and untrusting of others.. I have gave it to the Lord to fix. You are right when you say that tomorrow is not promised, I don't want my soul to be condemned because of the hate I have for Henry Wallace.

This has nothing to to with the movie itself. I chose the theme because it represents sadness, hopelessness, and despair. Can you think of anything more hopeless than to have 9 lives and futures cut short by a serial killer? - KWH

I don't think the theme represents that. I think it's rather pleasant and thoughtful (unlike the movie), not really sad. Pick something along the lines of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata". Not that's a downer! The theme you start and end with showing the killers face is appropriate. I don't mean to make light of these murders. They all look like smart, attractive, young women, unlike the typical victims of sexual predators - prostitutes.

They were fooled by a smooth-talking individual who turned out to be a maniac murderer. That does not make them prostitutes by any means.
