  • this is used mainly for crank baits right?

  • @cloudsoulja yepp i use it on all my hard lure though espiciely poppers ans swim bait it make it more realistic.

  • chunky dunk

  • Niiice. Thanks.

  • If you leave the tail extra long can you ad other hooks down line? ( use this knot instead of a dropper loop)

  • Best knot.caught a 300lb tuna with this knot ,i use no nothing else.

  • lol nice video just a simple rapala loop knot

  • Actually it is a not a Rapala Loop. It's a Non Slip Mono Loop. The Rapala is almost the same, but has an extra step at the end. When going through the overhand knot the last time, it tucks back into the loop it makes. So the tag ends up pointing the other way when its all done. I don't know that the Rapala is any stronger, just has an extra step. I think it is unnecessary, especially if on the last time through the overhand knot, you go through the side (Lefty Kreh style) instead of the center.

  • I showed my 8 and 13 year old how to tie this knot this evening at the lake...fast and easy.

  • No, it's not a Rapala knot. That's when you bring the tag back through the final loop before you tighten. It's a non-slip mono.

  • That's a Rapala Knot. Not a "non slip mono loop".

  • its a loop knot best for tieing your hardbodied lures on it enhances the action on the lure

  • THIS IS GREAT!!!

    I SUPSCRIBED!

  • Thanks
