phénomène de la musique parlée qui nous enchante grands et petits; tous nous sommes enchantés par ses mélodies si changeantes et drôles quel talent cet homme si actuel et que l'on écoute très peu sur les ondes ou radios spécialisées.
props to the people who knew what this was before Disney threw it completely out of context. lol
"Carnival of the Animals" is the same piece that has the eerie 'Aquarium' movement (one of the eeriest pieces of music ever created) and the famous 'Swan'...
Saint-Saens is the guy who wrote the "Organ" Symphony - most people would recognize the theme as the theme from the movie 'Babe'. He also wrote 'Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso', one of the most beautiful pieces for violin and orchestra...
Unfortunately, most people are introduced to Saint-Saens at an age when they don't even know what music is, and then they forget what they really owe him.
I thoroughly enjoyed your upload. I watched anl listened to the three and I especially enjoyed the notes. They added depth to my listening experience.
Thank you for this evergreen posting- a continuous delight. And your notes are excellent. An irresistible piece of music and the way Saint-Saens bring back the various animals "for a bow" in his musical quotations is perfection!

Very beautiful, I'm glad there still are old classical pieces that haven't been over used in mainstream media (i.e. George Lucas using Wagner)
When a song is untainted it can really stand out.

Wow, I didn't know Saints-Saens wrote this? He doesn't get the credit he deserves.
