  • ur soo stupid. females shouldnt breed until they are at least 51 grams. they should be bigger than that though. what r u ttrying to 2 kill ur female

  • Lol why do there Tales Raddle like a raddle snake? xD

  • @backuganhelper It's the mateing call if it's a male or a juvenile it will rattle back.

  • when the female bites the male that means she is rejecting the males urge to mate.you can put them in togethere again. in time she will be ready.

  • You should introduce them together with no hide... that way they have nothing to be intersted in.. hope this helps !! :)

  • I tried breeding my geckos out of season and the female bit the male in the face...?

  • you should have a 20g hideless tank for breeding, and also you may have better results during the night! hope i helped =D

  • breeding season is between febuary to september

  • @the0stinging0sword When was this video made...?

  • @HOLLISKID23 made? anytime. uploaded? Feb 11, 2010. ;)

  • @HOLLISKID23 hey i tryd what u said and them just left them in together and still nothing i no shes not ovulating but its been a long time:( . What should i do

  • @RockenReptiles You should look in the breeding seasons.

  • @HOLLISKID23 how old are they?

  • @HOLLISKID23 the female might be a hot female, meaning she acts to muck like a male leopard gecko.

  • your doing every thing wright its just that the female is not interested with the male. when the male shaked its tail the female didn't

  • it did not work because it was not breeding season. breeding season is in july dude

  • 5:23 male should be on top of female not female on male unless it's for humans lol but I will post a vid on how to breed them if u want let me know at my channel jacob9853109

  • How old are they?

  • @DerekD7777 female 2years old and male 2 years old reaching 3 soon

  • I have a question do they bite?

  • @OpticGamingPros mean ones do

  • @HOLLISKID23 im breeding a tremper giant female and a bell albino male he shakes his tale and she responds by shaking hers back but when he goes near her she snaps and runs away??????

  • @RockenReptiles Same problem at first. The female is not ready. give them a break and try again in another week or more.

  • She wasn't ovulating, haha. When they don't ovulate the female bites, kicks, stomps, etc. They're both beautiful and very fat!

  • playin hard to get!

  • Lol she bit him and he was so mad his tail was going all fast hahaha!

  • @wootsup981 the male shakes his tale as a mating call

  • @wootsup981 the male shakes his tale as a mating call

  • Hey did you manage to get there in the end ?

I'm trying to breed mine this year and i had a similar display to begin with. I was pretty sure she was ovulating at the time ( i think this was the problem here. If you tryed again a few days later things prolly went better ? ) turns out she either was not or just wanted no part of him lol a couple days later i tryed again and im pretty sure the deed was done.

Anyways would be interested to know how things turned out for you.

  • their both female you fucking idiot males don't have spots and are mostly white and yellow

  • @XjerichoX12 wow this comment is the BIGGEST fail ever!...THEY ARE FUCKING OVER A THOUSAND DIFFERENT COLORS FOR BOTH SEXES. one could male could have no spots or alot of spots like a mack snow leopard gecko or with no spots a tangerine baldy the and list can go on forever you idiot.

  • @HOLLISKID23 which is why they mated right duh and no they are over a thousand different colours how about you use google you twat and i bet 50% of the images for males you find will be bright yellow with no spots just patches and you can't wait 5 minutes for them to breed and the new enviorment will not help if anything you should put the female in the males enviorment because it will welcome her in if it is male but really your a dumbass

  • @XjerichoX12 WTF! you just proved your self your wrong, and your just searching up images of normal leopard gecko for males and your just saying what i just said, and not ALL fucking male you see are has patches and bright yellows spot you dip. and shortly after i realize the female wasn't OVULATING (if you know anything) so SHE wasnt ready to mate CAUSE she had no eggs in her to fertilze! and your a dumbass for thinking all males only have patches and yellow on them .you FAIL!

  • @HOLLISKID23 off course i proved myself wrong damn you really didn't notice that the first time hmm? but really your not going to get them to breed in that enviorment troll you have no stones you used fucking cotton for a floor it needs to be warm have a leopard geckos enviorment and have plenty of food for the female when she is ready to mate and wtf do you think they are fish fertilize? don't you mean mate? they do fertilization during mating stupid troll and CAPTIAL LETTERS won't help at all

  • @XjerichoX12 no fucking breeder used a fucking stones or plants to breed geckos and you know NOTHING about geckos NOTHING!!!! and no one uses FUCKING cotton for a substrate! and i know she has enough food she fucking weighs a healthy 85 grams and male is nice and fit weight of a 75 and the word FERTILIZE can be used for all animals who breed with a eggs and sperm not just fish you idiot.and breeding is the same as mating and fertilzed is when a healthy sperm meets a eggs and now fertilezed

  • @HOLLISKID23 lol troll harder could you fuck me get mummy to put your diaper back on and what did you have them on if its not cotton? paper? tissues? and try reading my comment before you troll me you stupid cunt and in the video you asked a retorical question stating "are you a girl?" so don't be a troll i'm going to stop now or you will start crying and put mummy on and putting CAPITALS in some WORDS doesn't HELP you absolute DUMBASS and saying FAIL all the TIME means NOTHING so keep TROLLING

  • @XjerichoX12 FAIL FAIL FAIL YOU FAIL!!! you dont even have a pet gecko and you said cotton for warmth and that made no fucking sense and YOU started trolling you started the flame war and you are an idiot for knowing NOTHING nada your a DUMBASS and i said that cause i wanted to make a joke , and if you didnt got it you little 12 yr old you and than grow up drop a pair cause you have no idea or brains about reptiles ...read a book , look at pics and think cause you are and idiot for not knowin

  • @XjerichoX12 jericho ur name is a fag ur dad is a fag u r a fag that likes to fags that likes other fags that likes other fags,ok done with u u fag that likes fags that hump lil babies, hollis i think u should just try keeping them apart for 2 to 3 weeks and put them back in?i dont no how to breed but sum1 told me this might work and is the gecko ovulating?u might wannawait until shes ovulating,if shes ovulating feed her a pinkie and try to maintain that good wait ok?beautiful geckos

  • @phanjonathanm Thanks;)

  • @HOLLISKID23 np let me no how bella is,i like ur male cant findgood geckos here so i only have 2,lol do u no how to hand feed geckos?kinda off topic but im havin trouble and there really lazy...they only eat waxworms out my hands and i try crickets but there like nah...oh yeah i think bella bit orion because orion got rejected?it suppost to be the other way around when themale bites female and climbs on to her to mate...subrscribed

  • @XjerichoX12

    are you a moron?

It doesn't matter about their coloring or markings In order to tell the sex between them two, you got to look underneath them. Males have v shaped pores right above their vent and hemipenals, and females do not have the bulges but have very faint pores. Reason of why she bit him back is because she is probably not ovulating.

  • probobly because she is bigger in size...

  • his asian u dumb ass

  • wow no offense but your kinda dumb they are not like humans they wont have sex in 30 mins and the girl will be pregnant

  • @bowincklenrj REALLY?!? THERE NOT LIKE HUMANS?

  • i think youve probally got gay geckos

  • you should put the male in the female cage so she will feel more comfortable and not threatened in a new cage, and the male wont feel dominant and get agressive because he knows his cage better than her. also, sometimes two leopard geckos just dont match up. they actually have strong personalities

  • how old are they ......... i am searching up different reasons on why they wont breed

  • @leopardgeckolover58 both almost 2

  • i hear u are suppose to leave them in there for about a day or overnight

  • @leopardgeckolover58 yeah i did the next week but that day bella didnt want to breed yet,

  • r u a beaner?

  • @wart147 ye amigo , stabbing starts at midnight chico..HAHAHA

  • hey, your actually supposed to leave them together for about 2 to 36 weeks and then you can remove the male. i dont think thay can do it in 30 minutes haha

  • @MrFundayProductions that will stress the female and ive seen people put there gecko in the tank and 2min later there breeding which they did week after

  • @HOLLISKID23 reptilecare(dot)com/leopardbreed.htm

  • I tried to breed my female Lizzy and my new (namless) male and he was doing that tail thing and he bit her a little and so on, but he didnt just get it. i saw him licking... you know what before even tryed. he has mating before and he made it . Lizzy is about 7 years old and my male is 2 years old, but he is kinda small compared to Lizzy. Anyone got any tips??? Sorry for my bad english.

  • @adol314 im sorry i cant really help because im new to breeding , but i all i can say is that keep trying sorry ...pm me if you need sites that work for me

  • @HOLLISKID23 Well i would be happy if u could show me some sites!

  • @adol314 shes probably not into midgets

  • @shoopdawoop3 What do you mean??

  • @adol314 the biting is normal. the male does it to see if the female is responsive

  • REJECTED

  • orion flickering his tail ment he was definately interested and bella didnt want to breed with him because he was too small, in gecko breeding the male must be larger than the female

  • I breed leopard geckoes, If you female is biting your male it means she isn't ready, she must be at least 55 grams and 1 1/2 years old... geckos are picky, just try once a day like you did here, and one day they should decide to hook up, just keep trying!

  • i think your beest bid is to put the female in with the male over night, he might seem agressive at the start but he is just showin his dominance and maybe territorial, but if you put her in there over night, he will eventually try and mate with her,, but come morning put her back in her own cage,, and just let her go in his cage a couple times untill you think shhe is gravid, but if she keeps swatting him wiyh her tail it means shes not ready.

  • thanks will do try so what are the signs of the female not intrested?

  • you were having a party

  • No my family is just loud ;p

  • oh xD

  • How long have you had the male?

  • 1 1/2 months

  • i heard u put the male in the femals tank so she feels more comfortable

  • when leopard geckos breed the male shakes his tail and the female responds by shaking her tail too

bella didnt shake her tail so i dont know f orion didnt see her tail or not

  • Comment removed

  • I'd prob agree with brumating, My guys were in a cooling period to save on feeders and back in Jan we had 2 days which got almost up into the 70s (reptile room was more like 88-90), all my guys became active so I had to increase their food, a few weeks later after they were fat enough I started breeding them with no problems. It could also be that you put them in a new place it doesn't bother males but females may become stressed in this situation and not want breed.

  • How do i brumate the gecko?

  • Just take away the heat pad and start feeding her less but this can take 3 weeks. Maybe try putting them together again, at 4:46 the male rubbed his sent on the towel and she picked up on it so she may be more receptive the 2nd time.

  • The gecko will let you know when shes ready, when she is ovulating. Be patient, I know its so hard to wait, I am waiting on 3 key breeder females to ovulate.

  • When do i know and how do i know she is ovulating?

  • I believe they start licking their back ends alot could be wrong though but I notice mind do this a lot during breeding season. The males get a Waxy substance around their pores when they are ready for breeding.

  • I'm not a 100% sure but I believe this is when she starts developing eggs which can some times be seen through the females belly the male will breed the female and the eggs become fertile. Some times the sent of a male may start this period, since you introduced the male and she picked up on his sent she may be ready to breed soon.

  • If you do go with Brumation don't let the temps drop below room temps!

  • Oh, that sucks. Did the bite do damage? And I didn't know they rattle their tails.

I know I'm not much help, but wouldn't putting some of the female's substrate in the male's tank be stimulating? I think vice versa would stress the female, but you could try. Also, female lizards don't seem to be aggressive towards their male counterparts, so maybe she's just not ready. I heard that when breeding, some lizards bite their female gently but firmly to secure them.

  • thanks this is the best advice i heard all day!

  • And I think cooling was mentioned, not as cold as colubrids, but less feeding and a slightly cooler temp is supposed to shut them down until the weather warms up. If you look up the weather in their natural range (pakistan, etc) You'll see something. Hoped I helped a little.

  • just leave them together for a couple of days in one of the tanks i bet you they will breed

  • hey man a tip here i tryed puting mine i a seprate cages didnt work try it in his tank he will feel at home

  • So put the female in the males tank?

  • yes

  • was it sucessful for u

  • yes it was

  • If the male is trying to breed with her and the female bites him back she is not ready.

  • @pspsrule HUH really so when do i know she will be ready?

  • I heard about a possible paper towel method on a forum. You take the males paper towel substrate after a few days of it being in his tank and introduce that to the female for a few days and let her get use to his scent. I don't know if it works I just read about it.

  • the temps

  • lol, dude u have to research before you breed. im not trying to insult you but, the male bites the female just befroe they bred. sortof like a grip lol.

  • yeah i know that duhh yea but the female is biting the male and i want to know the way for the female not to bit the male
