Lee Pace 'Infamous' Deathscene

Did Dick Hickock actually act this way in real life? I never got that impression from In Cold Blood, but I guess Capote didn't go into too much detail. Not that it takes away from Pace's great acting here, just curious. I just can't imagine Hickock being like this (maybe inwardly).

The blockbuster films never show a person being scared before being hung, or the actual drop.

This one did, and it makes is 1000x more believable.

You know someone is great actor if they can convincingly pull off sheer terror and fear with a black piece of fabric (I dunno what it's called) pulled over their face.

God, hanging is just so cruel.

But this was a very well acted scene on Lee's part(:

I finally saw this movie tonight and it left me speechless. It was such an intense film...wow.

This literally made my breath catch in my throat from the emotion during this scene. The sheer terror he showed was so sad I felt so awful for him, even though his character did what he did... =(

I highly recommend this movie to anyone that likes more dramatic movies. It will definitely stick with you.

This was such a great movie!

After seeing it, it's definately hard to feel "bad" for Lee's character... but man, he just did such a wonderful job in this scene when he's standing up there on the gallows... it was almost painful to watch (and I mean that in the best way possible haha).

Lee, you are gorgeous and talented. Ah! <3
