The droids are to often used in a comic role. This has always been one of my dislikes with Lucas' use of the droid army. Droids should be emotionless, not a constant source of 'funny one liners'

battledroids have no "brains" they have a super computer that thinks for them battledroid commanders have limited intellegence but everything is under controle by the super computer

with clones it is that they have a brain they think they're smart enough to take cover in a battle and they don't need a ship to give them orders

battle droids walk in a straight line in a battle but clones take cover and use grenades

you have specialized droids the commando droids theyresmarter than clanckers

ok... the CIS is fuckin crazy, their army has basically no limits, their battle droids are an almost limitless army, and the clones take, what was it, ten years each? so it takes a few years for a clone army

and the droideka were around with the battle droids, it was just the super battle droids who were introduced last, in the second one, with the clones, and why the hell would the cis have at-ats? they suck anyways, lol

even with an army of, basically, lesser jango fetts, they should still be able to easily over run the republic, just they were too stupid on making armies... if they made super battle droids instead of regulars, the battle would be almost even, and then their limitless numbers... if they sent millions of droids instead of their couple hundred to thousand, they would have won... but i guess since it was a movie, they wanted the republic to seem like the best... lol

Let's not forget all of the Jedi's fighting for the Republic, that counts for a lot seeing as how they can own droids. Like Mace Windu basically owned an entire battalion of super battle droids on his own in one of the cartoons didn't he? lol

Well lets not forget the GAR's superior space Navy, Armor and weapons. The Acclamator, Venator and Mandator II class assault Ships decimated their opponents while the ARC-170 and V wings were some of the best fighters not only in firepower but adaptability. The Clone Army was based off of its ability to adapt to situations and its superior skills on the battlefield. Frankly... B1 Battle droid SUCK!

Most of the space fighting would easily be won by the republic, with no doubt, but they, for some reason, aren't able to pull it off all of the time...

The battle droids, i'm stuprised aren't specialized to the planet they're fighting on, you'd think they'd have some made for dense jungles, like felucia, and some for a mostly beach covered planet (or where they do most of the fighting) kashyyyk, but in the end, i do agree the clones are better in skill, but the only flaw is numbers

umm... the thing about being in a huge group called the CIS is that it doesn't cost that much because the materials are all from planets and organizations in the CIS, so they're not going to charge another planet within the same agreement to make battle droids, which, in the long run, will benifit the ones supplying the materials... and the clones aren't technically human... they're clones, lol, they are trained for combat, but the thing is, it's not always inteligence that wins a war

They were only made from one bounty hunter, which was jango fett, a bounty hunter... and though reckless they don't share ALL of the same features, each clone is indepentant and has seperate thinking, but the thing is, almost all of the actual clones really didn't have a say in what happened, the ones who thought order 66 wrong was the commanders, who weren't altered in any way, like the clones that fought, and it wasn't the clones with the inteligence, it was the commanders and the jedi general

also, the droids, i have to agree sucked, and they didn't all die in one shot, lol, but the things is, even if you could kill one with one shot, if the CIS weren't god damn idiots, they would have numbers... but i do have to admit the clones (or republic, however u want to put it) was better, since evenly matched... when evenly matched in numbers, there's no way the clones could lose, it is pretty much impossible, the best thing the clones had was their wide variety of weapons they were supplied
