  • Is that Mark Ibold on bass?

  • They all look really bored up there, not even interested in their own music.

  • My WTLO has 3cds and one DVD, but honestly, you could fit the really intersting stuff on once disc. I don't think they were the type of band that spent alot of time recording great stuff that never saw the light of day...

  • Man do I ever agree with that! I was excited about the box set but then when I listened to it, I realized it was just a bunch of shit that never was released because it wasn't very interesting...

  • i was there....whwn they played this song it was almost magical!

  • The WTLO box set has 3 b-sides and rarities CDs and a DVD of shows, OK

  • with the lights out has 2 rarities cd's and a rare video dvd. its a big shiny box with all three of them on the front and came with a booklet that is sort of like a time line...i guess that there is 2 sets cuz i dont know what you are talking about

  • I'll have to look at mine. Maybe I didn't realize that there was a DVD in there...

  • im taliking about with the lights out

  • yeah I think that's the box set I have but i don't think there were any videos. It was just 3 CDs, right? Am I missing something?

  • ok so im surffing you tube and all of these teenagers are sticking up for kurt cobain stateing all of this info that sounds like they pulled it right out of there asses...i hate when poeple do that

  • yeah sometimes people are tards...

  • i was dissapointed with the box set to. the songs were ok but the videos all look the same. it was sort of like once you saw one you saw them all you know what i mean. allthough i did love the seasons in the sun video. it was cute. my favorite cd in unplugged in new york. i dont know why i just really enjoy live music. i also like muddy banks... :]

  • Are we talking about different box sets? I'm talking about the Nirvana CD box set that included like 3 or 4 CDs and that's it. No videos...

  • have you been surffing you tube all day long?

  • No...just IMing with you ;)

  • i love nirvana...they are my all time favorite... i think they have it on amazon.com i want to see if i can get it...thats the only site that i but stuff off of...

  • Yeah I like to get stuff from Amazon and Amazon Marketplace. There are some great CD deals on the marketplace. I love Nirvana too but I was disappointed in the box set.

  • Yeah we got The Year That Punk Broke on VHS and I recorded it onto DVD so I don't have to deal with VHS anymore. I don't know if it's available on DVD or what. It's really fun too. Lots of Kurt Cobain stuff...

  • and none of the bands that are going this year are my type other than the flaming lips and tom petty...i wish i could but i wont be there

  • Benevento Russo Duo, Paolo Nutini, Ted Leo + Pharmacists, Deadboy & The Elephantmen, Stars

Cat Power, Thievery Corporation, John Mayer, Van Morrison, Pierre Guimard, Murder by Death, I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness, Ben Kweller, Nada Surf, The Shins, The Raconteurs, Explosions in the Sky, Massive Attack, The Black Angels, The Stills, Husky Rescue, Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Matisyahu, Son Volt, The Flaming Lips, Muse, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

  • Yeah...the DVD is great so you need to check it out and let me know what you thihk. Too bad about ACL...

  • i dont ahve corporate ghost :[ they never have it every time i look

  • You MUST find Corporate Ghost! Can't you just order it online or something? Or use Netflix or Blockbuster Online to get it?

  • no i live in dallas but i came in town to spend time with my family and they just happen to be there to so i wnet with an old buddy of mine and we had a blast...

  • So...how far is that from Austin? Are you going to ACL? I'm pretty excited about it. This will be our 3rd year in a row...

  • were using you tube as a instant messenger like thing...

  • Yeah...pretty silly. So you live in Houston or what?

  • the only bad thing is that the inside of the hat smells like sweat...gross...the only reason why i wanted them to play drunken butterflywas because they were playing nothing but soft songs...i wanted to be throw around and stuff by all the people bigger than me... :] thats the best part about concerts...i love how she says iloveu, iloveu, i loveu, whats your name...:]

  • Yeah...have you seen the video for Drunken Butterfly on the Corporate Ghost DVD? It's hilarious! I love that too. Gotta be in the pit ON THE BARRICADE!!!

  • the tech guy gave it to me not thruston...i had to beg for it

  • Yeah that's what I figured happened...

  • they are pretty amazing live.I saw them at the warehouse live in houston and i was up against the rail all night so it was about 4 feet from lee...they didnt play drunken butterfly like i wanted them to though... :[ oh well...oh and during the show a dude threw his hat on stage and thruston wore it for a couple of songs and left it on stage when they were threw so lied and said it was my birthday and he gave it to me

  • that's cute... I love Drunken Butterfly! I think they did that at the Orange Peel the last time we saw them there...

  • ALL THESE YEARS!!! being the key word..haha i was so excited when i found out they were having...i can understand why you like Pink steam so much i just listened to it...its so amazing....:] isnt it funny how were having a conversation over you tube...haha who cares...oh by the way did you go to this concert? :o

  • It is funny ;) Yes, almost all the videos I posted were from Bonnaroo. I took them all myself. I wanted to see SY at The Orange Peel (in Asheville, NC) but we couldn't go because we had to get to Bonnaroo for the other artists. I hope they come back to the Cat's Cradle sometime soon. I can't wait to see them again. Bonnaroo 2006 was amazing and I'll definitely go again if they have another lineup like they did this year...

  • i love there mellow and harder songs i just love em all i like rapture? incinerate sleepin around and what a waste....what a waste was so awsome in concert! :] Rater ripped = genious

  • absolutely! I was SO into it the FIRST time I heard it. I can't believe that SY continues to rock SO HARD and to put out one AMAZING album after another after ALL THESE YEARS!

  • finally got the new album...this is the best song of them all :] it sounds sooo so good SY...strikes again...and you can find awesome color on myspace and there new cd on amazon.com

  • I think my favorite song on the new album is "Pink Steam" but I seriously love ALL of the new songs. The album is a bit more mellow than "Sonic Nurse" but it's really erotic and every song is AMAZING!

  • trust me awsome color is very cool they have a old classic rock kind off feel with a hint of neww age and grungeyness :] check em out all u guys

  • okay you guys! We'll check them out if they ever come around here...

  • awww i went to see them and the shirt that thurston has on is one from the band that opened for them! thats so cool :] by the way this song kicks bootie!

  • Yeah I love how Thurston is really into promoting young bands...

  • Best song off their new album. Love it.

  • I can't decide which song I like best because I love the entire new album SO much!
