Kris doesn't even have the vocal range that Adam has. This is the only type of music that he'll be able to do for the rest of his career, while Adam CAN sing everything.

I agree. I really liked Adam and thought he was amazing since the very beginning(even though he didn't blow out his mind-blowing range till Hollywood, I still thought he was a great singer). About half way through, I knew Kris was going home. I didn't see much talent(even if I was blind to it). Of course, I didn't realize how much talent he had. Took this song in the finale to make me realize that he's a great singer and I hope he has much success! :)

Yeah that's the only thing about the show. I wish that toward the end of the competition they would let them do full songs because afterall that's what they will be doing in the real world. I still like this version I just favor the one he did on the stage there a bit more.

I laugh at the person that says Adam will be the best selling Idol ever. The genre he will fall into has no where near the genre that Carrie Underwood does. She can sell albums on 2 fronts and will ultimately be one of the greatest selling artists of all time. She is already an Icon . No Idol will do as well as Carrie ever unless some unfortunate accident were to happen.

Kris's voice is OK, nothing outstanding but I think he'll have his own niche as a 'behind the scenes' guy - he'd definitely got a talent for original arrangements. This song is a testimony to it.
