Just as a heads up, King isn't a title in Fuhrer Bradley's name. It just so happens his first name is King. Thus his name is Fuhrer King Bradley.

Fuhrer is also simply German for the word "Leader". There's plenty of references throughout the manga and anime(s) of WWII references. Another big one would be the names of the military personnel. Mustang, Hawkeye, Havoc, Fury, Armstrong, etc. were all names of vehicles and aircraft used throughout WWII by the allies.

This version of the Amestris theme is infinitely better than the Brotherhood version. There are a lot of things of Brotherhood I like, but the Amestris theme isn't one of them. This is sinister, dark, more emblematic of the true Amestris.

@pinkjacketaddict i respect that but I think this theme is more suited for the Homunculi running the country from behind the scenes. The people of Amestris don't seem dark or sinister as this piece suggests... Just sayin...... I don't think this would be the amestrian culture hiromu arakwa has created but that's my take on it. (I can see the military though...)

I found it strange that everyone's saying "King Roy Mustang", but Amestris is not really a monarchy. It's more like a republic with elements of real-life governments. On top of that, the title for the leader of Amestris is not a "King", it's Fuhrer, as in the Fuhrer (Adolf Hitler) of Nazi Germany. So therefore, it should be "Fuhrer Roy Mustang."

You are correct. I don't recall them ever using the name Amestris in any of the episodes of the series itself. They did, however, finally use the title in the Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa movie.
