I don't know if you know this now or not, but I'll try to help you out here.
The one at 0:46 is kind of a harsh growl, and I've only ever heard him break that out for highs. But the thing he usually does sounds similar to what people call "fry" screaming, and Matt took lessons from the woman who actually coined that phrase, so that would make sense.

I will. They all have mistakes in the 2nd riff ( "be numb to all the things...") and in the prechorus ( "we are the deceived..." ). Just listen very closely to the actual song and to the tab, and maybe you'll be able to tell that they're different. Also, watch this video closely and you'll even see that Heafy's fretting at the chorus is different than the GP tabs on UG.

he also likes mayhem and other black metal bands a lot. so its no wonder. hes really using sooo many types of singing. i love the new album. at least 5 types. clean, growling, screaming, high bitched screams and some deep shouts and normal shouts. the album was a fuckin hard work to record all the harmonys and stuff
