You know, Gandhi's a great film. But E.T. The Extra Terrestrial should've won Best Picture and Best Director for Steven Spielberg. But at least it won four Oscars for Visual Effects, Sound Mixing, Sound Editing, and Original Score. Well done, E.T.

@retrorocker I constantly looked at my watch and squirmed in my theater seat when I saw "Gandhi". Biographical movies are rarely good, but often boring. Only "Coal Miner's Daughter" and "Milk" come quickly to mind as exceptions.
