First off all there's no such thing as mw or mw2 'STYLE RED DOT SIGHTS' there are many forms of actual red dot optics available, mw3 just lets you chose from multiple sights.

Just to point out a few things, not trying to be a dick or anything.

But in an interview, Robert Bowling confirmed that SpecOps will be two players, they said "it fits" better.

Secondly, at the end that looks exactly like the mines from a late MW2 mission in the forest, so it would be safe to assume its a type of claymore and not a care package.

Lastly, if you look at the killfeed at the end, he was killed by an AC130, although that mightve been a glitch.
