I don't think Mick has done anything to his G-2 Mullen hardware-wise. I read somewhere before that he uses D'Addarios on his steels. Mick was I right?
i don't play pedal steel, but this is too cool. i just watched it to see how it was done.

Yes, DAddario strings. The pickups are wound by Jerry Wallace...(TruTone) My E9 is wound to 19k and the C6 to 20k
